  • Testing Survival Kit!

    Funded Apr 13, 2021

Thank you so much for helping me get all of the things I needed to create some pretty awesome bags for my students to help them get through our state standardized testing! It is always such a stressful couple of weeks and those bags really made a difference! They kept the bags that had some hard candy, a cool pencil, notepad, gum, fidget toy, and a couple other little treats and goodies. It was so good to see the kids take a break when they needed and go through their bag to find something that they needed to help push through something they were struggling with. It was also wonderful to see them use their pencil and notebook to try to work out problems.

Testing is hard but with these bags it gave the kids something to look forward to!”

  • Pressing Our Way to Kindness!

    Funded Mar 16, 2021

I have become the t-shirt lady in our school with the task of making specialized shirts for the students and teachers in our school! Having the right tools is so important to making this successful and you have helped me do that! The special mats that I have to use tend to lose their stickiness pretty fast and then I am struggling with vinyl that moves while I am trying to cut it! Also, I had been using an iron to press the vinyl into the shirts, but the iron tends to get too hot and will burn the vinyl if I don't pay close enough attention! The press that you helped me get eliminates this problem of mine and make it run a lot more efficiently!

Thank you so much for all your help and support!”

  • "Marker" It Up!

    Funded Mar 2, 2021

It's amazing how quickly I run out of things, especially markers! I can't begin to tell you the daily struggle that we have with kids in the middle of work yelling out, "My pen doesn't work!" and then I am stopping what I'm doing to get them an expo marker! Having these new markers has been so nice and has helped bring down the daily chaos!

This year has been a struggle but having the amazing support that you all have given has been such a saving grace! Thank you for all your help and support to my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wieland

  • Home Office

    Funded Mar 1, 2021

Thank you so much for all of your help in getting my students the supplies they need to work from home! We have had a school year that has been a mixture of at home and at school and many of my students do not have the supplies at home they need to do their work. These crayons and other supplies have been a huge help and financial support to my parents and they are so grateful as Weill.

We are ready to get back to some normalcy and we are getting there, but until we do it is so amazing to have a support systems that helps us get what we need! Thank you.”

  • Totes of Joy II

    Funded Feb 25, 2021

Thank you so much or helping me get all the things I need to make these amazing bags of emotional support for my students! This year has created so much anxiety with my students and we have felt as a team they need something to help them cope with their anxiety! We have created these bags that have The Chocolate Touch book, a candy bar, a journal to write their feelings, and some fidget tools.

They love these bags and parents have had good feed back. My goal is to continually give them tools to help them until some normalcy returns. Thanks again for all of your help!”

  • Control Chaos With Small Means!

    Funded Jan 17, 2021

Thank you so much for helping me get these headphones to help my autistic student! I am learning that nothing is a magic fix with this student, but I need to be willing to try many things and I was really hoping these headphones would be that special thing, they didn't work exactly how I thought they would but that doesn't mean they won't become what he needs. He struggles with things around his ears and he struggles when he can hear what is going on around him when he is suppose to be focussing on his lessons. Eventually these headphones will work, he just needs to learn how to leave them in his ears. They will cancel out that sound that tends to distract them.

Thank you for helping me try new things and helping me get the tools that I would other wise not be able to try.”

  • A Tote Full of Joy

    Funded Feb 4, 2021

Thank you so much for helping me get the supplies to make these amazing bags! Just this week I had a student move and most of the supplies came for me to make a bag for him. I was able to put his name on the bag with some awesome vinyl and then I had the kids sign the bag of the bag. They wanted so badly to show this student that they loved him and that they hope he will remember them! Then I filled it with things for him that he could use when he is feeling lonely. A book The Chocolate Touch along with a Hershey bar, a fun thing of bubbles, a journal and a fun pen. He felt loved!

I will be so exited to continue to make these bags far all of my students and I hope they can feel that same love that I have for them! Thank you for helping me to get all the supplies to make these awesome bags!”

  • Fidget No More!

    Funded Jan 12, 2021

Thank you so much for helping me get all these wonderful tools to help my wiggling students! Every year I feel like I am surrounded by more kids who really struggle with sitting in and learning in the traditional ways that we are all accustomed to. I have tried to adjust to the kids instead of forcing them to adjust to me, and lets be honest it would make us all unhappy! I have stand up desks the students can choose to sit in, I have Hoki stools which allow them to wiggle all day long, and now with your help I have things for them to hold and squeeze when they feel the need to do something with their hands.

Thank you so much for helping me meet the needs of my students and allowing them to learn in the environment that is best for my students.”

  • Super Readers!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Our students work so hard in school! We push them to reach their highest potential, but with hard work comes great reward. For our reading goals the third graders are expected to reach 125 points be the end of the year. For my super readers who spend their summers reading the Harry Potter series this doesn't take a whole lot, but for the majority of our students they have to work pretty hard to get there.

When they reach that goal I make our students this Super Reader t-shirt that they wear for their Rock the Halls celebration where they dance down the hall as the other kids line the hall to high five them as they come down. It is so great, and we can do it because of your help! Thank you.”

  • Shooting for the Stars!

    Funded Oct 26, 2020

I love the school I teach at so much! We try so hard to create a sense of family in between teacher, students, and each other. One of the ways that we do this is by putting them into houses, just like in Harry Potter, and they stay in that house for their time at our school. We have friendly competitions, make up fun cheers, and create fun activities that they do together.

One of the best ways that we have done to create this sense of family and school unity is be designing shirts for each of the houses and every Thursday we have spirit day. Thank you so much for helping get every student in our school these amazing shirts and for helping us create that unity that we try so hard build!”

I am a third grade teacher in rural South Eastern Idaho. There is a reservation next to our small town, and we enjoy a wide range of diversity with our Native American students and Hispanic students. Seventy percent of our students are on free and reduced lunches. With such a wide range of students it is so exciting to celebrate the culture our school has created. Each student has their own potential, and it is so exciting to help them reach their highest potential. I feel so lucky to be a part of their lives. What an incredible job to have!
