• Crayons, Pencils and Paper

  It's truly an amazing feeling to be able to open the classroom closet and have sharpened pencils, crayons and copy paper. These supplies are classroom basics, that quite frankly are not basic at all. Although these supplies sound pretty basic to some, they are all desperately needed on a daily basis.

• Brain Break Tool Kits

  It has been truly exciting to have a supply of stickers and treats that I've used as tokens of encouragement in my classroom. On a daily basis, I will give out tickets to students showing effort, participation, kindness, and more. At the end of the day, because of your kind generosity, I am able to celebrate student success and perseverance with these tangible incentives. This small treats have kept my students motivated throughout the school day. They are so eager to fill out their ticket and wait excitedly to hear their name called. The students usually erupt in an applause for the winners of the day. And for those whose name wasn't called, their ticket remains in the jar for the next day. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!”

• A Squeaky Clean Classroom!

  It is now Flu season and with all of the sniffles and sneezes, these supplies have come in super handy. Although, yucky germs are here to stay, your contribution to this project has helped to keep our classroom clean and sanitized.

  Your contribution to this project has stocked my sanitation station with disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, masks, and hand wipes. These essential supplies ensure that we can clean up after any spills and splashes and disinfect table surfaces throughout the school day.

• Magic Pencils!

  On behalf of our third grade writing community, thank you! We are very excited for the addition of our pencil sharpener. It has been diligently working to keep our magic pencils sharp. The copy paper has truly helped me to stock different paper choices and make day to day copies for instruction. The dry erase slates have become instrumental tools in my small writing groups where I target the needs of each one of my writers.

  As an educator, I'm charged with making content accessible to all of my students. Providing manipulatives for students to grasp difficult concepts is a way to make learning Math accessible and engaging.

This year we have tried harder than ever to bring books to our students of people who look just like them.
