In our special day class preschool classroom, it's where students first develop a relationship with learning. It is our responsibility to make sure all students are in a safe environment and tools for learning are available. The materials I am asking for my students are a few of the essentials in a preschool classroom as they learn through play. Both the doll house and barn with people and animals will help promote imaginary and pretend play. As our students spend most of their preschool day working and learning to play together with classmates, these materials will provide teachers tools to help facilitate children develop their thoughts and language by providing play and language model.
