• Goal Set Match!

  This project was created so I could gift these items to my students for the holidays. They love to play sports and I want to encourage more outdoor activity to increase their fitness levels. They got to chose which of the sporting item they wanted and got to take it home after they played with them at lunch of course.

  The look on their faces and their eye lit up when I told them they could keep the soccer balls was priceless. What an amazing experience to be able to do this for my students this year.”

  Thank you so much for the incredible donation/ match off that was given to me so I can have the best technology in my classroom for me and the kids to get to use. It makes such a difference to have the newest and best working laptop that gets the job done efficiently without headache.

  The best part is using new stop motion animation software with the new computer makes the students eager to learn and complete work. All the students appreciate the chance to use it and it looks I may have to order some more for the future.”

• Make, Print, Laminate!

  WOW! What an amazing laminator! I can't believe I have taught this long without one in my classroom. To be able to printout worksheets, guided notecards and beautiful diagrams and then to laminate them to hang up or give out to the kids is such a nice touch. I also used it to print out personalized holiday bookmarks and gave them out as gifts. I can do some many cute things for the kids and to make my room look amazing. Thank you so much for donating the funds so I can use this wonderful piece of tech in my classroom on a daily basis.”

• Healthy Snacks for the Kids

  Thank you so much for the generosity you have shown us this year by giving to our projects. Healthy snacks are one of the best rewards I can give to my students and feel GOOD about doing it too. I know parents appreciate all the extra care we give to their children and if it can promote some healthy habits then it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

  Kids love knowing they can earn snacks for doing their work and that makes them work toward a goal. Having several snack available to them offers them choice and keeps them trying to earn more rewards.”

• Help Us To See Our Work In Color

  What can I say but - "Thank you for the color printer!" I can't tell you how amazing it has been to just PRINT and not worry about ink or paper jams or having color or ink. It's been so freeing. The students love getting color worksheets or even to just print out photos and pictures for them to use in projects. Everything just looks so nice and professional looking when it has a flair of color added to it. And I am well stocked with back-up color that I hope to be set for next year as well. Your generosity during this school year has meant so much, and we are so grateful for your donation.”

• Successful Teaching with Financial Literacy Kits

  The Financial Literacy kits included 2 different games involving money and a few books about dealing with money. the student were very excited when the saw the games and couldn't wait to play.

  I waited until we were working on decimals and used one of the games involving counting change and coin recognition. It was a great game for my ESL kids and a good review of counting coins for all. The students wanted to keep playing even when we already had 3 winners. I can't wait to play PayDay game with them. Thank you for the amazing resources.”

• The Basics Plus Some Kleenex!

  The resources you helped fund have been such a pleasure to have around and I feel free to say to the kids "sure, I have that!" The batteries have been great to have for all the little techy things we have. Markers, pen, pencils, wired mouse, sturdy stapler is the best! I really like having the water bottles as nice prizes for achievements.

  Your generosity has made my classroom more inviting and feel like home for me and my students. My students use and share these items daily and are happy to have them especially the wired mice for use on the chrome books.

  I can't thank you enough for supporting my project. The VersaTiles and practice workbooks are great for those students that need to go ahead and it provides a fun way to use the self-checking tools so they can see where and if they need more support. It's great for me too because it means I can save time too because the activities are already in the workbook with beautiful colorful pictures and examples. I only wish I had gotten 2 sets so they whole class can work on it at the same time but I can still conduct it as pair activity. • Focusing on Fitness and Fun!

  Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my project. The students were over the moon to receive these fitness trackers. They loved the setting up process and checking out the steps they've accumulated. They were so happy to go outside and start jumping rope and racing around to see who could get the most steps in. I think he nest few weeks I plan to incorporate this data into math and health lessons that I'll plan with the health teacher so we can help students develop a good sense of healthy lifestyle.”
