  • Classroom Essentials - Part 1

    Funded Oct 6, 2024

Technology has transformed learning, and items like Chromebook cases, dry erasers, and lollipops play crucial roles in supporting students' engagement and growth.

    Chromebook Cases

Chromebook cases protect devices from damage, ensuring uninterrupted access to digital learning. They also teach students responsibility, as they must care for both their Chromebooks and cases, reinforcing the value of maintaining resources.

    Dry Erasers

Dry erasers enable real-time brainstorming and collaboration. Students can quickly revise and refine ideas on whiteboards, fostering creativity and critical thinking. They complement digital tools by encouraging hands-on learning and teamwork.

    Lollipops

Lollipops serve as simple but effective rewards, motivating students to engage with lessons. They create a positive classroom atmosphere and encourage students to stay focused and excited about learning.

    Excitement Among Students

For many students, Chromebooks offer a new way to explore subjects interactively, making learning more engaging. Tech-savvy students or those who struggle with traditional methods often thrive with digital tools. The reward system of lollipops further fuels enthusiasm and helps maintain a positive learning environment.

In short, these tools protect, motivate, and enhance the learning experience, fostering creativity, collaboration, and excitement in the classroom.”

  • Love Is in the Air!

    Funded Jan 11, 2024

Thanks to your generous contributions, our classroom has been transformed into a hub of creativity and learning on this Valentine's Day. Your support has enabled us to introduce exciting new resources that have sparked immense enthusiasm among my students.

Witnessing their excitement as they saw their cards come to life was truly rewarding. It was so nice to provide them with pens and games and chocolate to share with them for this fun holiday celebration.

Once again, I extend my deepest gratitude for your generosity and belief in the power of education. Your support has made a profound impact on my students' learning journey, and for that, we are truly grateful.”

  • Healthy and Happy New Year!

    Funded Jan 9, 2024

In our classroom, we have seamlessly integrated healthy snacks into our daily routine to promote overall well-being and focus among students. One memorable event involved creating a "Nutrition and Wellness" corner where students researched and presented information on the benefits of various snacks.

They sampled different healthy options, discussing their nutritional value and impact on energy levels. T It was heartwarming to see them making healthier snack choices outside the classroom, demonstrating the lasting impact of this initiative”

  • Flexible Seating

    Funded Dec 21, 2023

We are embracing the wonders of flexible seating with our new stools for our small group table. The stools match so beautifully with my class decor and blends right in. They are the perfect size and take up less space then traditional chairs, which mean that I can fit more students around the table. Students are very eager to sit at the table now. With a few different options that we have now, students take ownership of their space. It's not just a classroom; it's their learning environment. It's a small change with big impact!”

  • Healthy Treats for Hard Working Kids!

    Funded Sep 29, 2023

Hey there, amazing donors! 🌟 Our heartfelt thanks for making "Healthy Treats for Hard Working Kids" a reality! Your generosity has sparked so much joy and learning in our classroom.

We recently embarked on a fun and educational journey with the new resources you provided. Picture this: a colorful array of fruits and veggies transformed our classroom into a mini farmers' market! The students were over the moon exploring, touching, and even tasting these nutritious treats.

The moment they laid eyes on the materials, you could see the excitement bubbling up. It was like Christmas morning, but with organic candy and snacks! The hands-on experience has not only made learning about nutrition a blast but has also fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility.

Your support is making a lasting impact on these young minds, helping them build healthy habits that will stay with them for life. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for investing in the well-being and education of our hardworking kids! 🌈🍏🥕”

  • Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate!

    Funded Jun 2, 2023

My hydrate project was funded in late May and half of the supplies arrived in Sept. but then I had to choose replacements for the other half. I got some candy to use as rewards and prizes for completing work. This will be a life saver in the coming months as we get into the school year. The water bottles will be given out shortly as part of prize selection station for rewards. Students always love the water bottle. They are colorful and I have stickers they can put on them too to personalize them. Saves on many trips to the waster fountain and keeps kids in the room. Thank you for making this possible.”

  • Carry On!

    Funded May 9, 2023

I can't believe what a wonderful project this has turned out to be. Thank you for your generous donation in making this come true. Students were super hyped about getting a case to carry their school issued computer in. I put labels on them too so we all know who they belong too. It had handle so they can carry it along side their back pack. They learn to be responsible for their device while keeping it safe. It's a big deal and a first step in teaching responsibility for middle school. I love that I was able to do this for them with your help. Thanks!”

  • Learning Is Fun Plus Supplies!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Wow! It's been so nice to have colorful folders ready to give to students if they need. I gave them out on the first so students could safely place important paper they got that day. I use the beautifully mesh ziplock bags to store manipulative and other resources. Then I also have the pencil case style ones that the kids love too. I also should have gotten more multiplication games to practice because every morning they can't wait to play at they're tables. It's wonderful to see the kids grab them and bring them to the tables to use as they are working. Such a great resource to have for them .”

  • Rewards, Snacks and Supplies for the End of the Year!

    Funded May 18, 2023

First, I want to start by telling you how happy I was to see that my project got funded in time to use these wonderful supplies and gifts for the end of the year! I wish you could see the faces when I presented them with the gift cards and snacks during our awards ceremony. It feels so nice to be able to do these small acts of kindness without breaking my own bank. Students were so exacted to earn the rewards with all their hard work during the year. The bonus supplies I ordered will serve as incentives for my students in the upcoming school year as well.”

Everybody likes to be told they are doing a job and receive some recognition. Our school is lucky enough to have Chromebooks in the class. But it would be great if I could print out some of the wonderful writing pieces they create. I'd love to print out the students' work and show it off around the room. My plan for the chair is to reward a hard-working student everyday by making them feel special and sit in the executive chair. They will get to make all decisions that day and to show them that with great power comes great responsibility.
