Old Fashioned Summer Fun!
Funded Mar 16, 2024Thank you so much for making this project possible! My students need engaging screen-free activities this summer and now they have a bag of activities to take home. We spent the last few days of school learning how to play jacks, marbles, and traditional jump rope games. The students had a blast and realized it doesn't take a lot to have a great time. Whenever we do fun activities in class, the students always want to know where they can get the materials. I loved watching their eyes light up as they realized they'd get all the materials they needed to take home and keep! They were also provided with summer learning calendars with ideas for keeping each day of summer vacation filled with learning and challenges! Thanks to your generousity, I know they're set for a fantastic summer!”

Planting the Seeds of Science
Funded Feb 5, 2024Thank you for helping my students learn to love science! They had so much fun planting their seeds, making predicitions about their needs, and observing them grow! They are even more excited about hatching our butterlies when it warms up in a few weeks.
Without the materials you helped provide, these science lessons would have been dry and dull. You helped make science come alive for my students! I know you are helping to spark their interest in science, an interest I hope continues as they grow.
Thank you again for your support! My classroom would not be the same without you!”

Funded Feb 26, 2024I want to express my gratitude for your generous donation to my reading celebration project! Thanks to your support, I was able to provide my students with opportunities to explore the magical world of books and reading. Your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of these children, many of whom start second grade already behind in reading.
Your generosity helped purchase five copies of the newest Dogman books, along with replacements for older books that have been well-loved but are now falling apart from frequent use. Additionally, I was able to build excitement about reading with decorations and Dogman favors.
It's truly heartening to know that there are individuals like you who understand the importance of nurturing a love of reading in young minds. Your support not only provides access to books but also fosters a sense of joy and wonder in students as they start their reading journeys.
Once again, thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your donation will have a lasting impact on the lives of these children, opening doors to a brighter future!”

Math Intervention for Struggling Students
Funded Sep 28, 2022Thank you for supporting my project Math Intervention for Struggling Students! Your donation made it possible to purchase materials that meet students at their current math level. The activities are designed to be hands-on for greater understanding and fill gaps in knowledge. When students have knowledge gaps, they are often unable to understand grade-level material and concept.
My students have enjoyed these fun, hands-on activities. Since they are at the students' level, the students feel successful. This is the first time some of these students have felt successful about math! This is crucial for motivating students, which translates to higher achievement. Thank you for helping my students succeed!”

Classroom Refresh 2022
Funded Oct 26, 2022Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. It's amazing how many little things like tissues, Ziploc bags, and pencils are needed to run a classroom! Sometimes these little things make a difference between a successful and organized classroom and a frustrating one!
My students now all have new, undamaged supply caddies to keep their school supplies in. They have tissues for the constant runny noses! Center games and pieces are stored in Ziploc bags so the pieces are kept together and students are able to complete their work. The students can now focus on their most important task: learning!
Thank you again for helping my classroom!”

Digital Materials for Remote Learners
Funded Jan 22, 2021Thank you for supporting my classroom and my students, particularly during the trying days of remote learning! As teachers shifted all our instruction online, we worried about creating passive students who simply watched and listened. Your donations helped make sure I could provide digital activities to keep students engaged and challenged! From digital math centers where students sorted, matched, and solved, to online reading activities where students built and read words, my lessons were as "hands on" as possible from behind a Chromebook. My district was a leader in remote learning, providing over 6 hours of live instruction each day. It wouldn't have been possible without your help!”

A Classroom Aquarium for Science
Funded Feb 2, 2024Thank you so much for helping my students! You have no idea how excited they were when they found out they were getting their own classroom fish! Their excitement fed their knowledge as they learned about fish life cycles, needs, and care. The day the fish arrived was the highlight of the year!
In addition to helping the students learn, the fish also create a source of pride for the students. They love to bring friends into the room in the morning to proudly show off their fish! In a community where child trauma is high, this is extremely important in motivating the students to come to school. Many of these children have very little to brag about. Being the keepers of these fish makes them feel so important!
Donors like you have an impact on my students every day. It truly takes a community to raise a child, and my students wouldn't be as strong without donors like you!”

Funded Feb 2, 2024Thank you so much for support my classroom and my students! My students were so amazed and excited that complete strangers cared about them and their learning! They were particularly excited about the new spooky stories to read and the new Legos for indoor recess.
Just as helpful were the other classroom supplies. We have so many sick kids this time of year, that the tissues were sorely needed! Our headphones were also in bad shapes, with many missing the cushions that protect the students' ears. We use computers daily so students can access personalized math instruction that fills in their personal skill gaps. I have many happy kids with the new headphones!
I have also put the TPT giftcard and laminating sheets to good use. With the gift card I was able to purchase new seasonal math games to liven up our math centers! I feel so blessed that you cared enough to help my classroom get these much needed materials! Thank you so much for investing in my students and their futures!”

Funded Aug 23, 2023Thank you so much for helping my classroom! I had fun preparing brag tags for all my kiddos, and they were so excited to see their fancy new tags!
The first week of school I told the students about the brag tags and how I'd be on the lookout for brag tag worthy behavior. Rewarding students for great listening, working hard, and showing respect not only made them feel good, but also motivated others to act in the same way.
I know these brag tags will be a special keepsake from 2nd grade. Thank you so much for making them possible!”
