  • Copy Paper and Supplies- Urgent

    The words are not enough to thank you all for your donations. I feel that I am not alone in this journey of helping young teenagers to have a brighter future. Being an educator is a challenging job, but it is very rewarding. Now, it feels less challenging with your help and supports. Most of you are anonymous, but I would like to send some cheers from Bronx-NYC to the two little boys (3 & 6) from Ohio, California, Georgia and New York. Tessa, thank you so much for your kind words. You brought tears to my eyes, I promise you to do my best to send my kids to colleges or a good career.

    This classroom project was brought to life by Con Edison and 8 other donors.
I make a lot of copies and I give a lot of homework to support the students` learning. I need copy paper. I ran out of copy paper and I will not have another box till the next semester. I really need copy paper and supplies to support my chemistry and STEAM (STEM) classes of 135 students. I make copies of the Do Now, Exit Ticket, Classwork and Homework. My students are consistently working and actively engaged. I use about a ream of paper a day between Health, STEAM and Chemistry classes. Every student uses The Scientist Practice. It is a packet of at least 3 sheets of paper back to back a day. I use markers as well since I do not have a Smart board. I use colored markers to model all the chemicals and diagrams. I use them to illustrate protons, electrons, neutrons and on. Chemistry can very interesting using colors on the board. Colors help my visual learners.

About my class
