Gift a Book for Black History Month
Funded Jan 26, 2024The donation of Black stories books has had a profound impact on our 4th grade students. These books have deepened their understanding of diverse experiences and cultures, inspiring empathy, respect, and a sense of justice. Students have learned about the resilience and achievements of Black individuals, while also gaining pride and confidence, especially those of African American descent.
Overall, the books have sparked meaningful discussions, broadened perspectives, and fostered a greater appreciation for diversity. Thank you for making this possible!”

No More Chair Screeching
Funded Dec 4, 2024I’m writing to you to share my appreciation for your donation to my project. Teachers rely on the small things like this to help with creating the best possible learning environment for their students. Often these little things aren’t built into a budget for schools. So thank you for choosing my project!”

Funded Dec 4, 2024I want to thank you so much for choosing my project to donate to. With a new set of classroom headphones, my students will be prepared to use any online programs that require a microphone and/or headset for individualized learning. Your donation will go a long way to support my students this school year and hopefully more to come.”

Building a Dedicated Small Group Area
Funded Dec 6, 2022Kids get excited about new things— Even school furniture! This table is the main event in our dedicated small group area in our classroom. It has helped shift our small group routine of constant movement of desks and chairs. Our intervention period (small group time) now has a smoother transition because of your contribution to our project.
Students are now excited to be "chosen" for small group time with the teacher and their peers. This space was also great to have in the room for down time during the end of the year when kids bring in their busy items (board games, bracelet making, etc).
So, thank you for helping me make my classroom a bit better!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Mojica
This classroom project was brought to life by Optimum.Unique Resources
Funded Mar 25, 2022The unique resources that I have been able to offer my students with the help of your donation have been very helpful. Because students use their district Chromebooks daily, I love to offer something more than the dreaded time that the district requires students to work on online intervention programs. As teachers, we want to give students the best of the best, but creating that content is often time-consuming. Through TeachersPayTeachers, I'm able to support other teachers and keep my students engaged with the resources I purchase there.
Since my project has been funded, my students have worked through virtual escape rooms, played against each other in Jeopardy, created wonderful crafts to show off our skills on the bulletin board, and even created 3D maps with the use of student-friendly science journals that go along with district resources (Great find!)
Many of the resources I've found on TeachersPayTeachers, work well in combination with those provided by my district. The district resources might not be very "kid-friendly" in the wording, the pacing that my students are on, or even something as simple as the size of the font. My students know that there are teachers all around the country that create "for us". I call it Amazon for teachers! Thank you Optimum for your generous donation.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Mojica
