I teach two classes of high-energy fifth graders in a low-income school in Oklahoma. With a full class, my active students need an alternative to the every day lectures and worksheets. I am seeking ways to break up the monotony that they are all so used to while still reinforcing important math and science skills. I want to make learning fun and keep them actively engaged.
