Help Our Classroom Soar!

I explained to my kindergartners that there are very generous people in the world who are willing to donate some of their money to help our schools. The kids just thought this was wonderful and we all feel really special that we are on the receiving end of your generous donations.

I cannot even explain how excited my class was when our big packages arrived! They were so anxious to open our new easel/dry erase board and bulletin board...maybe even more anxious than me! We got them opened up and set the new easel up in our classroom. Immediately the kids wanted to know if they could write on it and try it out! We have been working hard on writing our names this year, so that was the first thing they got to write. :-)

Since we received our new easel, we have been using it to learn new word families. We have been practicing writing the words that we are learning each week and my students are super eager to use the new dry-erase board each day.

The huge bulletin board is already hanging outside our door and we are showcasing our Star Students each week. The kids are feeling very important when their posters are hanging up for all to see.
