• Oh, The Places You'll Go!

  Thank you for funding our "Oh, The Places You'll Go" books! Each year we like to give our children gifts at the end of the school year, and while all of the children enjoy getting small gifts, we love giving this book. We write a note inside on the cover or any page telling each child how special they are and how much we enjoyed having them in our classroom. Our hope is that they will continue to take this book with them to the next classrooms and have their teachers continue to write notes in it as well. When they get older, they can read the notes from each of their past teachers and know how loved and important they were to everyone!”

• Dealing With Our Emotions

  With a lot of our children being born during the covid pandemic, many of them have not experienced being out of their home or around other children. For most, preschool is the first time for any child to be away from their parents, but in this era, a lot more children are now being around others in different environments. We are finding the children are needing more social-emotional help within the classroom, and books and social stories that explain their feelings, emotions, and ways to handle their emotions are the best ways to help these children understand. By having these stories in our classrooms, are children are learning how to handle and even say what they are feeling and why. Thank you for these books!”

• Spectacular Summer Send-Off!

  Thank you for helping fund our summer send-off! Our students were able to each receive a personalized bags full of resources, learning materials, as well as fun items such as bubbles, crayons, coloring books and more. The learning resources will help the children be able to continue learning and growing in their development during the summer when usually children do not do much learning. The kids loved seeing their own personalized bags with their name on it, and were excited to show it off to their parents on the last day!”

• Extra Clothes, Please!

  Funded Apr 28, 2023

  Thank you for helping fund our extra clothes project! By having extra clothes in the classroom, we are able to quickly change a students clothes without embarrassment or even having to call a parent to bring a change of clothes!

  In Michigan, the weather is always unpredictable but we try to go outside everyday! Often times the grass or slides are still wet and with the excitement, children don't wait until we can get it dried off so their pants often get wet right away!

  Being wet and uncomfortable is not a good way to learn, and the dry clothes really help! Thank you!”

• I Like Writing!

  Thank you so much for helping fund our writing tablets! The children enjoy writing everything from their names, to other words, to shapes and other fun designs! By having them use the tablets, we are eliminating extra papers being used and are mess-free! They are able to erase and start over as often as they want and show their friends! We love seeing how excited they are when their names show up all colorful! These are so fun! Thank you so much for helping fund this project! These boards will be used for many years to come!”

• Keep on Writing!

  Thank you so much for funding our writing project! At this age, our students are beginning to form letters and learn how to write their names! We've used tracing sheets, regular paper, and whiteboards, but these tablets are a fun change! We have been using these as a transition from breakfast to whole group, and having the children write their names or other words they are around the room! They are so excited to show their friends their colorful names and words as well as other fun designs they come up! Thank you again for this fun change up!”

• Teachers Pay Teachers Resources!

  Thank you so much for helping fund our teachers pay teachers gift card! There are so many resources available from studies, to labels, to social emotional stories. In our room, we are focusing on coloring mixing and the clothes unit! By having these ready made resources, it helps us have the room more inviting, and easy to change materials over for new units to keep the kids engaged and excited for what is to come next! • Where's the Storage?

  Thank you so much for helping fund our large cabinet project! Our rooms are so small and there is not a lot of storage, so having these cabinets and baskets and bins to help keep things straight and organized makes it easy for us to grab what we need and put stuff away at the end of the day, out of sight plus keeping our rooms clean and organized! We love that it is locking, so we are able to keep our cleaning products in there and out of reach of children as well. Thank you again! We love the extra space!”

• Let's Warm Up With Hot Cocoa

  Thank you so much for helping fund our hot chocolate project! Having our coffee pot and assorted hot chocolates have been helpful when the temperatures as low and we need to warm up! When children are cold and not very comfortable it makes it hard for them to focus and learn. The children are also learning responsibility by knowing that we need to ensure there is water in the coffee pot, they also are learning that the liquid comes out very hot and they need to ask for help before they are able to grab their cup! Thank you so much for this fun and delicious warm up!”

• Let's Drive Somewhere!

  WOW!! These kids are loving all of the fun cars and ramps! Thank you for helping us fund this project. It's always exciting to bring out new toys, and these cars, ramps and parking garage really made the kids go crazy when they play with them. Not just the boys, but the girls are too. We have added signs to the ramp so the kids are learning things like stop signs, yield signs, bus signs, railroad signs so that they can put the real world perspectives with the signs into real life situations. Thank you again for making this a reality for the kids!”
