An environment conducive to learning should be student centered and allow for both collaboration and communication. The learning environment should be much like the content that is delivered; differentiated to best meet the needs of students. By making a donation to this project, you will be allowing students to have the ability to choose which seating is most appropriate for them allowing student to take ownership for their learning. Addressing the kinesthetic needs of the students is important to the classroom, as not all students focus sitting still while seated. Students will be able to choose balance boards at standing tables for those who prefer standing movement. Those that opt for more traditional seats will be able to utilize a wobble stool providing more movement. Wobble cushions and bouncy bands will also be available for students who need to get their wiggles out while they learn. In order to optimize organization for each students, "seat sacks" will be purchased for the storage of materials and supplies so as not to tie them down to any one spot. Allowing mobility in the learning environment will assist in countering some of the same issues that adults face: sitting (or standing) for long periods without the ability to move.
