Seating and Sensory for Learning

Thank you so much for your generous donations! This school year has been off to a busy start, but all the better due to your donations for flexible seating for our classroom. We are already one quarter of the way done with the year and have gotten settled and are rocking and rolling.

The highlight of all of our new seating options is in the bean bag chair for sure. We save that one for when someone needs to take a brain break inside the classroom and use the other seating options like the wobble stools during instruction. The kinetic sand and fidgets have been a huge help for those brain breaks and students have already picked their favorites.

My students have really taken ownership in caring for the materials and always make sure they are put away at the end of the day. We really have created a community where each student uses what they need and makes sure to return it when they are done. We have restocked on a few fidgets due to their popularity and restructures how things are used since the start of school, but ultimately they are a huge help.
