The students in my class at Mott Hall High School in Harlem are a diverse and vibrant group, hailing from all around NYC with connections to the cultures of places like Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Peru. They are curious and inquisitive, eager to learn and engage in conversations on everyday topics such as the weather, lunch, their families, and their hobbies. These students thrive on peer support, offering encouragement to one another and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Their dedication to practice and improvement makes them a dynamic group, committed to both personal growth and helping each other succeed.
