My kindergarten students are enthusiastic learners! They care about one another and have a positive attitude about learning. Our school works hard to create a strong community and it shows in the way students treat one another. The students in my classroom have diverse language backgrounds. They are bilingual learners, speaking Spanish and English. Our school is in a large metropolitan city. About 40% of the students in the school come from low income households, but in my classroom this number is even higher. Students have art class once a week for one hour. I value learning through art. I add in more art projects into other curricular areas to give my students more access to it outside of the art classroom. Creative play is another important part of my classroom. Your gift will inspire bilingual learners' to use their imagination!
