Writing With a Flair
Funded May 9, 2025My students were so excited to get some new pens for art. They love the choices they have now. The minute they saw the supplies, they were begging to use them.
My students took the old, dried up pens and immediately replaced them. So far we have used the pens for a math project involving art. They have also used the pens in a summer art guided drawing.
I am excited to use the Astro paper. This will be an nice addition to add some color to the newsletters I send home. We will be using that in the future. My students and I am so thankful!

Funded Feb 15, 2025What a treat to receive some new stools and books for the classroom! My students were overjoyed to sit in the stools. The other stools were so unstable. My students wanted to be the first one sitting on them.
When my students got the new non-fiction and History books they grabbed them and started reading right away. Some students were already familiar with the National Geographic books but were excited to see the other ones. The history books were a hit! The students wanted the challenge of reading all of them.
We appreciate your kindness and I know all will be put to good use.”

Replenish Supplies for Classroom Use
Funded Sep 23, 2024Thank you so much for the supplies. My students loved the pencil toppers the most. As we go into the winter months, the students are showing illness. The Lysol wipes will definitely help to curve that.
My students were so thankful, and most couldn't believe that someone would care enough to donate to our classroom. They were full of smiles and excitement.
I plan on putting some labels on the handwritten spaces around my classroom, with the label maker. My intent was to help my Special Ed. and Multilingual students, as well as other students, know where to find items in the room.
We really appreciate the donation to our room.”

Laminator and Logic
Funded Dec 30, 2023Thank you so much for the laminator and sheets. These supplies help my students get an extra boost in math.
I appreciate the donation and will be setting up centers and using some volunteers in my classroom.
Our school laminator is always having issues, so it will be nice to have one at my finger tips to save paper. I used the Brain Quest cards in the classroom when we have those few extra minutes to wait for recess or lunch. The students love to answer the questions and find it challenging.
I will use the Bridge the Gap cards in small groups with a volunteer to facilitate. These items will be a nice addition to the work we are doing in class.
Thank you so much!”

Desk Pet Incentives
Funded Feb 2, 2023The Desk Pets are a big hit!! The students have collected Desk Pet Dollars for good behavior and are buying some Desk Pets and supplies.
They were so excited to get their pet. They couldn't wait to buy supplies for their habitat and create an environment. The pets are having play dates and the students created a spa for the pets to go to.
Next steps for this project, is to buy some larger cases and continue to have the students to collect dollars until May. I will let the students keep what they have gotten so far.”

Headphones Needed
Funded Nov 29, 2022Many times in our classroom the students lose headphones, or the headphones break. If they don't have headphones the student has to go to a space ,outside the room, where they can hear the directions. They are so excited to have headphones in the classroom to borrow. Many of our programs on the computers, need headphones in order to hear instructions. These headphones help the students be successful in the lesson. After the students use the headphones, we wipe them down so that other students can use them. Lastly, the headphones are a great color and shape too.”

Funded Feb 23, 2022My students are so happy to have new supplies. They immediately told me to throw out the old markers that were dried out. They are using the new resources as a community of learners. We put them in our shared cabinet.
My students said "Whoa, those markers are Smelly Markers". They wanted to use them right away.
My students will use these resources for art and other activities where they need to be creative. The scissors will be a big help when we do our projects. Thank you so much for the donation!”

Uno, Dos...Ready to Play
Funded Nov 30, 2021I can't thank you enough for the new card games and board games for my students. I am using these resources for "Fun Friday." They get to choose a group to play a game in the afternoon. They get to earn this for good behavior and good work during the week.
My students were very excited to choose a game and play it with a group. The students would say, " I know that game"! " I can't wait to play"! They have been learning about taking turns, socializing with others and following rules.
Next steps are for the students to include other students in the games. Maybe use the games at lunch when they are done eating.”

Funded Nov 8, 2021Thank you so much for the Personal Narrative examples and books that inspire my students. I will be using these books for some mentor text to introduce concepts. "My Crazy Dog" book will introduce a Personal Narrative. I will be using "My Papi Has a Motorcycle" and "Fry Bread" to read stories from different cultures.
We read from a text book and do activities from that. We do small group novels to read from specific novels. We also read our own silent reading books checked out from the library and from book orders.
I have several students who are enjoying the graphic novels, and the informational fact books are a hit.
These donations are very appreciated.”

Sitting Around the Classroom
Funded Jul 23, 2021Thank you so much for the floor desk and chair set. My students are very excited to have this flexible seating. We are using these chair and desk sets when we do partner activities when we have work to fill out. The desks line up front of desk to front of desk ( 3 feet spacing) which is perfect for the distance we need to keep this year.
My students were so excited to have these as an alternative to sitting on the floor. I also have cushions, but they prefer the desk and chair.
I will continue to offer these as a choice when my students are working on math, reading or writing activities.”
