Soft Seating Mats and Cuddly Friends Needed for Sharing Time!

Creativity Flows When Minds Grow!
Funded Nov 10, 2021What a wonderful way to cheer my students up and get them excited about writing with all the stationery materials and writing tools your donations provided! We will be putting these resources to good use as my students brainstorm ideas to become creative writers and masters of their own imaginations! Writing is a skill my students need the most support with and engaging them by using colorful writing paper, stickies to jot down community thinking maps, markers to add details, and generating sentences to paragraphs is the ticket to becoming more proficient storytellers. Quenching Thirsty Fifth Graders With Cool Water Bottles!
Funded Oct 20, 2021Thank you so very much for your generous donations! You have made a positive impact in my students' daily lives as they are using these bottles you helped to fund. My students are refilling water bottles and quenching their thirst throughout the day, especially right after recess and lunch playtime. Kids are thirsty and need to cool down as we return to the classroom, and they can access cool water from their metal bottles and keep hydrated! Overall, your contributions have also helped bring awareness to recycling and practicing reusing, reducing, and recycling. The usage of plastic water bottles has been significantly reduced since my students have these cool reusable metal water bottles! On behalf of my students and myself, we all thank you very much for your generosity!”

Funded Apr 15, 2021Thank you for your generous donation of cancelling noise microphone headphones to my fifth graders in our school. Your kindness is very much appreciated!
When my fifth graders received the headphones and used them for the first time, they were thrilled to be able to even whisper into them and actually be heard clearly! Their little faces lit up as they were able to hear me across the virtual screen and follow the audio fo the lessons with ease.
With your help, my students felt more confident speaking clearly into their attached microphones, and the background noise was minimized. A positive outcome of using these cancelling noise headphone sets for my students was that their focus and participation increased!
Your gift has definitely impacted my teaching and my students' learning during distance learning in a positive way. My students and I thank you for making this possible.”

Building a Bridge to Technology
Funded Jan 25, 2012Oh, what great news! My class was thrilled to have received a VAIO notebook computer and to know that kind, caring people like you care to help them in their classroom! Thank you for making possible to add a notebook computer to our hungry for knowledge classroom. They were eager to open the computer package and they were curious to see the color of the notebook and they loved the textured shell of the VAIO.
It is just a fact that my students get sparkling eyes and their energy levels rise whenever they get a chance to work with a computer. As we got the computer out and as soon as I set up the basic needs to have it up and running, my students were eager to touch the keyboard and to hit the research based sites to explore the world of technology. It was like a happy Christmas day!
Without your support, my students would not have the opportunity to be amazed by the speed of technology at the tip of their fingers. Thank you, Mari Sanchez, the Wasserman Foundation, and all the Anonymous donors who are adding many happy smiles to my thankful students' faces.”

Funded Jan 21, 2012This letter is to express my gratitude to you for contributing to enhance my students' access into technology. When they saw that some kind people had made it possible for them to enjoy an HP notebook computer, they were absolutely thrilled and cheered over the news. Once they had their little hands on the computer's keyboard and were able to use it, their smiles stretched wide in happiness.
My students have been using their new HP notebook computer daily to take on line quizzes and to access their enrichment math on line program. They love it! This particular week we have been dong project based learning research about snakes and, because of your donation, my students have been able to spend quality time on the computer finding facts about snakes. It is a great feeling to see their surprise and awe to use this HP mini notebook computer to become experts on snakes.
With your support, and thanks to your donation, my students now have a great opportunity at becoming 21 century technologically advanced scholars!
