Our Expectations are Great!
Funded Feb 8, 2024Thank you so much for your donations to this project! You placed a copy of the adapted version of Great Expectations in the hands of each of my students. They learned to look words up in the text to determine their meanings. They also used the books to find evidence to prove their point when discussing the book.
While most of my scholars struggle with reading on their own, the book allowed them to stretch their reading ability and read as the computer read aloud. This was extremely exciting for a few of my seniors who are not used to this luxury.
Thank you again, for believing in this activity for my students!!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Falcon
Bump, Set, Spike!
Funded Jan 19, 2024I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous sponsorship of our high school volleyball program. Your support has played a pivotal role in making this endeavor a resounding success.
Your commitment to our program is truly commendable, and we are honored to have your esteemed organization as a key partner in this journey. The impact of your sponsorship goes beyond the financial contribution; it is a testament to your belief in our mission and a vote of confidence in the positive change we aspire to bring about.
Thanks to your support, we were able to provide our girls with uniform bottoms as well as protective gear while playing volleyball, which would not have been possible without your invaluable assistance”

Funded Nov 29, 2023Thank you so much for supporting our classroom!! My students are excited to know they will be well-prepared for state testing this year!
Most of my students come from low-income families and don't always make it in time for breakfast. This is especially concerning during testing time because rumbling bellies make it hard to concentrate. I have also put back some of the snacks to reward the students for working so hard.
Again, we are so grateful for you and your support!! My students love hearing how people care enough for them to donate to our projects!! We appreciate you more than you know!”

Funded Nov 3, 2023Our students are so excited to learn new gardening techniques with the Hydroponic Kit you so graciously funded!
In January we will begin our unit on plants and how things grow. The students are excited to grow items to take home and share with their families. We will be growing flowers, ivy, and even lettuce ( we haven't decided on the Kale yet). This will prepare us for a small business of growing garden starters to sell to raise additional funds for our classroom.
Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and are so thrilled that you cared enough to donate to our project!”

Working 9-5
Funded Jul 13, 2023My students are readying themselves for the workforce. Several have jobs during the school day already. All of them are anxious to learn skills that will help them post-graduation.
This project has allowed my students to learn the skills of sorting, filing, and shredding office documents. This has been quite beneficial and made them more productive workers overall. One student has even requested to learn how to operate the copy machine and printer as well.
Thank you so much for your donations that allowed my students to learn these valuable skills!”

Funded Dec 2, 2022My students love to create and I love for them to learn as they do!! With this project, we were able to combine both aspects for a truly amazing result!
Students were provided tape, canvases, paint, and brushes and told to make as many angles as they could (sneaky Math) and then paint their hearts out. The results were absolutely beautiful and amazing Angle Art. Once we completed the art aspect and the paintings had dried, we measured our angles and discussed the types of angles we had made.
This project was amazing and only possible thanks to you!”

Funded Jul 1, 2023These book have provided my students with a timeless classic at their reading level. It has allowed us to delve deeper into comprehension, inference, and character development. Best yet, by it being a hard copy, it has allowed us to continue the readings even as we had computer problems.
The students love going on word hunts to find their vocabulary words. They also enjoy finding evidence to support their answers. None of this would be possible without your help and support.
Thank you for believing in my students and this project!”

Funded Oct 29, 2023A hungry belly does not allow students to focus on their work. With your generous donations, you helped our class take a step away from hunger and a step toward success. From learning how to take inventory of the snacks, to restocking the snack box, to enjoying a treat when bellies are empty, this project has helped my students find security in an unsecure world.
It also brightens my students' day to know there are people in the world who see them, care about them, and believe in them. Thank you for being one of our "people".”
