My students currently do not have carpet seating for whole group instruction. By providing them with their own individual spot, they will be able to focus on instruction instead of classroom distractions. With a new dry erase horseshoe table, I will be able to provide direct instruction in ELA, reading, and math. The dry erase aspect will give my students the opportunity to practice new skills such as spelling, sight words, addition, and subtraction. With their close proximity to me, I will be able to focus on individual skills to help students succeed and prepare for the next grade level.
