  • Thirsting for More Books!

    Funded Mar 19, 2019

Thank you so much for you kindness and generosity! You have helped to bring a ton of brand new books to our library and our students are loving them! Our students are thriving as readers and having such a wide array of books to choose from is helping their love of reading grow!

When it is their book shopping day, our students are so incredibly excited to choose new books for their book baggies and they love to spend time looking through our library bins at all of our new books to read. Right now, we are about to begin working on book clubs where will be learning about how to read and discuss the books that we are reading and our students are beyond excited for that! Due to your donation to our project, you have helped their excitement for reading grow immensely! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • Cozy and Comfortable Little Learners Need Options!

    Funded Oct 19, 2018

Thank you so much for donating to our project! Due to your generosity, we have been able to comfortably learn in our classroom! Students have been able to choose the spot that appeals most to them while working independently. Many of our students love to work on the floor chairs, while others like to work on the comfy couch. Your kindness has totally changed the climate of our classroom by adding student choice. By allowing our students to choose the most comfortable place for them to work, productivity has increased and students feel more at ease while working. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your selflessness!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • Aesthetically Pleasing, Please!

    Funded Oct 3, 2016

Thank you so much for your kind donations! I am so excited to give our classroom library a much-needed facelift. Thank you for believing in public school education and the needs of our children. Without people like you, our schools would be much different. I cannot wait for my students to walk in to the classroom and see how beautiful and calming our library now is. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • We are Desperate for Flexible Seating!

    Funded Aug 23, 2016

Wow! Thank you so much for donating to this project! Since all students do not learn the same way, flexible seating will allow each individual to thrive in our classroom setting. Your selflessness and kindness will go a long way to touch the lives of my students this year and for years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • Growing Readers Without Any Books To Grow Into!

    Funded Oct 11, 2015

Thank you so much from our classroom for helping us get more books to read! Being that we are such voracious readers, you have helped to quench our reading thirst. By donating to this project, you have helped us to grow as readers and learners. You have helped to provide many different reading opportunities to our students. We are so thankful that you understand the importance of having a variety of books and genres to read in the classroom. At the young ages of 7 and 8 years old, the worst thing would be to stile my students' love for reading. Thank you so much for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • Help Us MOVE to Our Full Potential!

    Funded Oct 18, 2015

Thank you so much for helping to provide resources to help my students with sensory needs. By donating to this project, you have helped to provide fidgets that the students use to stay focused while doing their work. The tangle fidgets are great because the students can feel them in their hands but do not need to look at them while they fidget. This helped to keep their hands busy which, in turn, helps their brains to stay focused. All of the resources that you have provided have helped my students to grow immensely! Thank you so much for your kindness!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • Growing Readers Thirst For Books!

    Funded Apr 16, 2015

Words can not even begin to express how grateful we are for your donation! Many of the students in our classroom are avid readers and breeze through the books in our library so quickly! By donating to this project, you have helped these lovers of reading to have many more choices. It is such a great feeling to see my students reading and discussing their books with excitement! Additionally, many of them have told me how happy they are to have so many choices. One student told me that she had never had too MANY books to choose from and, because of your donation, she does now! Thank you so much for understanding the importance of choice when it comes to learning to love reading!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch

  • We Need Hands-On Experiences! Help Us, Please!

    Funded Feb 4, 2015

Thank you so much for taking the time to donate to our project! By helping us get these materials you have helped my students understand the importance of STEM in our classrooms. After working to build the bridges, chairs and homes from the kits, many of my students have said that they would like to be engineers when they grow up. Our classroom has become to beginning of careers in math, science, engineering, architecture, etc. By providing us with the blank hardcover books, you allowed my students to create their own poetry anthologies. Whether, science, technology, math or literacy, you have helped me to provide enriching hands-on experiences to our beautiful young minds. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Basovitch
