  • Safe Learning Environment

    Funded Nov 11, 2020

    Thank you for your kind donations. This year was my first year as a teacher and although it was different, I gained so much experience. With your help, each of my students were able to have a device to participate in school work, programs, and lessons. The school provided chrome books and tablets to the students who did not have devices but a few did not qualify or they would forget it at home. The tablet worked as a backup for those students.

    We successfully finished the school year safe and healthy. My students did an amazing job with social distancing and taking care of themselves. I believe the air purifier was a part of this successful year. The students also learned about spreading germs, how to be safe, and how an air purifier works.

  • My Bees Need Materials

    I feel beyond blessed with all the materials my students got this school year. My students have benefited so much from these materials and they have learned so much. I want to thank you all who helped me make this possible.

    My students are learning to read sight words and they love seeing the stack of all the sight word flash cards that they know. We have gone through all the word family flip books and the kids love reading them during center time.

    Their favorite materials from all is the snap simple addiction center. My students love math time because they like to use all the manipulatives that we have in class.”

  • My Little Bees Need Books

    Funded Aug 12, 2020

    I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity I was able to obtain. As a first year teacher, this was really helpful because I started with no books. I am slowly building up my class library with wonderful books that my students LOVE!

    My students are learning to read by reading the pictures, some are reading words now, and other are retelling the story after I read it to them. My students love to choose what to read for their 15 minutes of silent reading that we have every day.

    My students are loving A Little SPOT of Emotion set of books. These books teaches them about exploring their own emotions and having confidence in themselves. I have many bright students that have many ideas and they always want to share. Therefore I love to read them the book My Mouth is a Volcano to remind them that it is okay to have many ideas going in their head but they need to be patient.

I want to provide them with various ways to teach them. These activities will provide a fun and engaging way for my students to learn. I will be teaching my kinder students how to read, write, do math, and learn about life cycles with these materials.

About my class

This will be my first year teaching and I am excited to give my students the learning that they deserve and need. My bees will need many interactive and fun ways to keep them academically entertained while doing virtual learning. Many of our students are ready to get back to school and to learn.
