The cleaning supplies have helped us tremendously to maintain a clean classroom! We are so happy to be able to clean and teach our little ones how to be independent. Thank you as well for the tissues. They are much needed in the classroom setting. We do our best to make our classroom a germ free zone!

Writing Supplies and Center for Amazing Kindergartners!
Funded Jan 1, 2018Thank you so much for helping our class build an amazing writing center! We are using the writing supplies to build our writing center, strengthen our writing skills, and foster independence.
Our students were thrilled when they saw our new caddies, buckets, crayons, and pencils they were so excited to begin writing workshop. They love writing and knowing that they now have extra special material to work with makes them even more happy to write!

Technology Resource Center!
Funded Feb 24, 2017We have so much gratitude for your donations to help us build a technology resource center. Our class absolutely loves having a touch screen computer to use in our lessons. During lessons we use our computer for videos, interactive reading/writing activities, and for great phonics lessons!
The touch screen computer helps keep the students engages in learning. It also incorporates great visual and musical attributes to our learning environment.
The printer allows our class to differentiate instruction for our students in a timely manner. We are also now able to print work for the students in a timely manner! Thank you so much!”

Kindergarteners Raising Money for a Listening Center and Seat Sacks!
Funded Jan 19, 2017We are extremely grateful for the donations towards the seat sacks and headphones. The seat sacks have been an excellent tool for the students to become more independent and develop self-autonomy. They are now responsible for organizing their own notebooks and pencils. This may seem like a small feat but for kinderg�rtners it creates a great sense of pride in being able to take care of their own work without the assistance of an adult.
The headphones have allowed us to finally set up our listening center! Our little ones are beyond excited when they get to use the listening center. We have set up a ton of reading, phonics, and math applications for the students to use on the iPads.
The next steps for our classroom is to have sensory tools readily available to the students. I teach ICT class with many students that have sensory integration disorder. They require various calming/sensory equipment in order to remain focused and on task. Please forward my link if you know anyone that is interest in supporting my next sensory equipment project!”

Sensory Gym For Students with ASD and Sensory Integration Disorder
Funded Aug 25, 2016Thank you so much for the donations to make our sensory/reading corner. The students absolutely love the bean bags and tee-pee. They were so thrilled when they saw them in the classroom. The bean bags and tee-pee create a more warm and cozy ambiance during reading workshop. This helps children to associate reading as a fun activity and instills a love for reading at a young age.
The tee-pee and sensory suit are also great calming aids for students with sensory integration disorder. Some of our students can become easily overwhelmed and need strategies to soothe their anxiety. The tee-pee is an excellent private space where a child can retreat to when they become emotionally disregulated.

Funded Nov 19, 2015We are beyond grateful for your generous donations! It is really amazing and heart-warming to see how supportive and caring people can be. You are really making a positive impact on their kindergarten experience through your generosity. Your sweet, kindhearted little kinderg�rtner will be especially excited to have her own personal book bin - she is a very organized 5 year old!
We are also very excited to receive the book bins and reading tools. The supplies will really help foster their independence during reading workshop, and provides the tools necessary to decode and begin reading on their own. We are really so blown away by the kindness and support we have been provided. Keep on being such kind and amazing people - makes the world a better place!
The book bins have given our little readers the opportunity to become independent readers. Each student has their own book bin. This gives them a sense of ownership and pride in their reading and encourages organization skills. ”

New Readers in Need of Developmentally Appropriate Books!
Funded Oct 31, 2015I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children. You have been so generous and the Kindergarteners are going to be so excited as well! The books arrived just on time for our new reading unit! I know the students will absolutely love them.
The reading material is perfect for beginning readers and will help foster their ability to decode text. The reading material funded is also some of my students' favorite stories! They are the ideal books for students to begin independent reading. My kinderg�rtners are so excited! They absolutely love Elephant and Piggy! These books really help encourage a love of literacy. Our class is now filled with voracious readers who love new reading material!
