Save A Life - Learn CPR

Thank you to all donors that supported my project "Save A Life - Learn CPR". This new CPR equipment and supplies will greatly benefit my students as well as the community.
We were so excited to received our new CPR manikins. These new manikins have lighted feedback monitors equipped in them. This allows the student and instructor to see exactly how well and correctly they are performing the life saving skills of CPR.
With the use of these new CPR manikins, the students will be more at ease knowing they are performing these life saving skills correctly and will be more likely to help in a crisis situation. This new equipment will allow for better training for many, many students (from early teens through adults).

This classroom project was brought to life by New Teacher Fund and 9 other donors.

These CPR manikins, with feedback monitoring devices, meet the American Heart Association standards for classroom instruction for CPR Certification. When students choose to become CPR Certified, they are committing themselves to the act of bringing resuscitation science to life. The teaching of CPR is based on "hands on" learning and skills demonstration. All students must demonstrate high-quality compressions and breaths with barrier devices on CPR manikins in order to receive their CPR Certification. By having these manikins with feedback monitoring devices and one to one instruction and guidance, this can be achieved by all participating students. Being able to respond with adequate knowledge and confidence is of utmost importance in an emergency situation. By participating in the CPR classes that I teach, no matter what career path the student follows, these skills can be a valuable asset.
