  • Math Exploration

    Funded Sep 8, 2022

Thank you so much for your amazing donations. My children love exploring with these different materials. They love making different objects using these materials. It is amazing what their imaginations will let them do when they have the right materials.

These materials have helped them learn new math vocabulary such as faces and vertices. These concepts can be so hard to teach but with the hands on materials they understand it so much better. It is amazing to see how fast they learn when they are able to have hands on materials! I can't wait to see how much more they continue to learn with these materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Prevost

  • Show What You Know!

    Funded May 7, 2022

Thank you so much for you donations. My children were so excited to use these new learning materials. They loved being able to write and erase on the whiteboards.

These materials help my children learn so many different topics. When they are doing math they are able to practice concepts such as greater and less than. They can also practice learning addition and subtraction facts. They can also practicing drawing different shapes.

In reading children can practice writing letters and practice writing simple words. They love being able to practice reading the letters they have written. Thank you again for this wonderful donation.”

  • Let’s Start Reading!

    Funded Dec 2, 2021

Thank you so much for this wonderful bookshelf! It is the perfect height for my children and they love to look at the books they can read.

The books in my classroom library are now more spaced out so the children have more room to look through this. The children can look at the books we are reading for our learning unit. They are also able to look at the monthly books that I am able to rotate out with the more space I have been given.

This bookshelf is also wonderful because it gives me room to store our games for Friday fun. The children are now able to access these materials independently which is so beneficial for their autonomy.”

  • Learning through Play

    Funded Oct 17, 2021

Thank you so much for you wonderful donations! My children were so excited to use these materials to build. They have such amazing imaginations and these materials helps them put these imaginations to use.

These magna-tiles also help my children work on their communication skills. While using these materials children need to ask each other for specific pieces which helps them work on describing shapes. It also helps them work on sharing which is a skill we are always working on in Kindergarten.”

  • A Place To Read, Write, And Listen !

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to this project! It is a wonderful gathering place for all the children in my room.

The whiteboard is used every day in my classroom. We start every morning with a morning meeting and we use this whiteboard to write and read our morning message.

I also use this white board when I am teaching small math and reading groups. It allows us the opportunity to learn both letters and numbers. The children are able to visually see the numbers and letters I am writing and using.”

  • Energizing Technology

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation of my Chromebook cart. This allows me to store the Chromebooks the children use daily in a nice safe location. The cart also allows the children consistent access to fully charged Chromebooks. It is wonderful to see the children be able to safely access these Chromebooks and sign themselves in successfully.

My children are using these Chromebooks daily in order to practice both their math and reading skills. In math they are able to practice their math facts, problem solving, and critical thinking skills through various websites. Children practice their reading fluency, decoding skills, and comprehension skills on these Chromebooks.”

  • 21st Century Learners!

    Funded Feb 20, 2019

Thank you so much for your wonderful donation! I can't begin to explain how excited my children were to see this new technology. Their faces lit up when the saw these Chrome books come into the classroom.

Since we got these new Chrome books my children have had the opportunity to research a person of their choice for a biography project we are working on. They have had the opportunity to join with a partner and play a review game to get them ready for our stats test. They have also had time to work on their reading comprehension skills at their reading levels using different websites.”

  • Reaching All Learners!

    Funded Nov 20, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous donation! It was amazing to see my children's faces when the Chromebooks arrived. They were very eager to open them up and be the first one to use them. I have many children who still prefer to use the new Chromebooks over the other Chromebooks daily.

In the classroom the children use these Chromebooks daily working on both their reading and math menus. The children are able to sign on to Goggle Classroom independently and work on reading and math assignments. Many of my children are also able to use programs that work on helping them with their reading skills. These programs have helped many of my children make progress with their reading this year.

The children this year will have to take our state assessments on the computer. These Chromebooks give them the ability to practice their typing and computer skills. It is wonderful for to see them want to practice these skills. All my children now can use the Chromebooks with much more skill and feel much more confident with this technology.”

  • Technology Helps!

    Funded Jan 28, 2018

Thank you so much for donating to this project. My children were so excited to receive the Chromebooks and they use them all the time.

When we received the Chromebooks we were in the middle of an informational writing unit. The children were able to research about their specific topics. At least once a day I heard, "This is so much fun!" When they were finished researching and writing they had the opportunity to type their informational reports. This was so much fun for the children as they were able to add in pictures from the computer.

Another project the children were excited about was making slide shows. As a class, we read about different animals. The children then created slide shows to inform the rest of the class about the animal of their choice. They were able to use information from the book to tell us about the animal. After that they were able to use pictures to help us understand where the animals lived and what they looked like. At the end they were able to present their slide shows to the class and they were all fabulous.”
