New Teacher with Little Materials

Thanks to your donations my classroom has been pieced together and is now fully up and running! The resources from this project have already made an impact in my classroom and help light the fire of reading in my students. The bean bags have provided a comfortable spot for my students to read to each other as well as a reward for good behavior during our daily 5 work stations where the students individually take learning into their own hands. The listening station has provided a different way for students to follow along and read with a professional including music and sound effects to make the stories come alive! Using these simple resources, I have seen many of my students comprehend and enjoy reading more often as well as become better readers on their own and moving up on their guided reading levels! It's an amazing feeling to see their eyes light up when they finally get to move their clip up to a higher level of reading which also means, a whole new set of books to pick from!”
