The students in my classroom are 7th and 8th graders who attend a public school in Los Angeles. My students come from a culturally and linguistically diverse background. Many of them come from low income households and are faced with many challenges outside of school. Although my students face challenges inside and outside of the classroom they are like all middle school students. They are funny, insightful, energetic, curious, and willing to work hard. They inspire me to be a better person and teacher everyday.

About my class
