I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support of my classroom. Your donation will make a tremendous difference in my students’ learning experience, providing them with the resources they need to grow, explore, and succeed. Knowing that there are people like you who believe in our students is truly inspiring. Your kindness and investment in their future mean the world to us.”

Funded Nov 22, 2019Thank you so much for your support and believing in our classroom! The students are really benefitting from listening to literature on CD with the headphones. They love to listen to the stories and now will have the opportunity to do it over and over again electronically. One thing I have found to help motivate them is to incorporate technology into my classes. Kids seem to gravitate to having that independent control over their results. We were eager to have the headphones arrive. Donors like you make it possible for me to do my job effectively. Thank you for your contribution and making the world a better place!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Lane

Funded Mar 27, 2018When the box arrived with the Document Cameras from our Donor's Choose grant, the kids cheered! We are all so excited to be able to have this additional tool for our classroom learning environment. These 3 Document Cameras have created an opportunity for small group intervention, individualized support, and group collaboration.
The students in my class came into 5th grade with varied ability levels. I have already begun to plan for small groups of students to use the document cameras for math fact practice, map skills, and other basic skills practice that some of my students need to experience daily.
In addition to small group intervention, I'm thankful for the document cameras to be able to provide individualized support. For an example, majority of my students are Kinesthetic Learners. Having these document cameras gives them the opportunity to show what they have learned and complete their assignments without getting frustrated and giving up.
The possibilities for group collaboration are almost endless. The students have already started planning how they will present their next group assignments by working together, recording their presentations, and using different output methods. For example, some students want to present lessons, yet others want to create a mini-documentary or explanation video. The students are excited because these document cameras have given them a tool to help create interesting and relevant collaborative presentations.
We are so thankful for your support and we appreciate your generosity. Thank you for enriching education for this class of 5th graders and many more in the future!"”
With gratitude,
Mr. Lane
