The South City community realizes a considerable participation rate in formal music education. We have an enthusiastic student population from each grade level, 6-8! The population reflects the shift in demographics, with a majority of students of color, sizable rate of students with special needs, and majority low socioeconomic status. Working toward the 4C's of 21st Century education - communication, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking - these young citizens are shifting toward higher level engagement as students and leaders. We want out students to have safe, appropriate equipment so they can succeed! Our school administrators are prioritizing and now we are reaching out to our "big community", as well! Succeed through music: Please join us!
