  • Movement Props for Little Wildcats

    Funded Feb 12, 2025

Thank you so much for your support with these movement props for my music students! March saw us complete "Music Madness" brackets using our teachers favorite Disney Songs and the students have been so excited to use the dance hoops in their listening. It has made them so much more expressive in their movement and their listening has improved!

I really thought the younger students would enjoy these dance hoops the most but it is actually my 2nd graders that are always reaching for them. These dance hoops inspired me so much with music centers that I made another project to get some bags that will specifically fit these!”

  • Lit Concert Supplies for Little Wildcats

    Funded Apr 7, 2025

Thank you so much for supporting my singing wildcats as we strive to make music fun and bring joy to students! They’re going to love these products for their concert and in the classroom! I cannot wait to them to find out that we got the supplies for our Family Fun Night this month!”

  • Beat Buddies for Musical Wildcats

    Funded Oct 17, 2024

My students have absolutely loved the new additions to our music classroom. The younger students especially have had a much easier time using our squishmallows to show their steady beat with safe bodies. I've also been able to take those same squishmallows and use them as "audience buddies" while showing the students bits and pieces of the Nutcracker.

The overwhelming response from students has been surprise and excitement when I introduce the beat buddies. They are so excited to use something so cute. Even the boys who can sometimes be a little harder to please have nothing but positive reactions because of your contribution.

I'm hoping to extend the beat buddies into the community through our Family Fun Nights in the Spring. I'd like to have a few chosen buddies in a recording booth of sorts when we attempt our Family Folk Song Project!”

  • Tinkertars for Little Wildcats

    Funded Aug 19, 2024

Thank you for your generosity to my music classroom! Because if you, we know have a full class set of tinkertars so that each student may play an instrument of their own when they enter my classroom!

The one-stringed has been a big hit. Every student in my building is able to play it because even just strumming the open string plays a note! On reward days, I let my students choose an instrument for us to play and the tinkertar has surpassed the boomwhacker as everyone's favorite! They get so excited to come to music and play them.”

  • Music Needs for Little Wildcats

    Funded Aug 19, 2024

Thank you so much for helping these little wildcats have an upgraded music room. While our classroom had two guiros prior to your donation, they are very fragile and students could not use them. Now we have a student proof guiros that they are greatly enjoying!

The ukulele stand has also been instrumental in helping me safely display my instrument so that is safe but also easy to grab when I play it. We use the ukulele for our welcome and so-long song and the kids love seeing it on the shelf when it's not being played!”

  • More TinkerTars for Little Wildcats

    Funded May 20, 2024

My students have been so excited to begin using tinkertars as the school year begins. The second graders especially have enjoyed getting to use a brand new instrument that they haven't seen before! Getting the tinkertars out for the first time has been a great experience for them.

My students have all had amazing reactions to opening up the instruments for the first time. I've opened a tinkertar with every class and introduced the instrument to them.

Thanks to you, I now have enough tinkertars to be to have a full class set of 30 so that every student may play on their own instrument without having to share with a partner during instruction.”
