  • Ready, Set, Learn!

    The supplies received from this project has helped me achieve my goal of increasing students' participation in class. They are eager to learn and receive bonus incentives for participating in class and aiding their fellow classmates in the learning process. Our world geography and US history classes are showing significant improvements in mastering skills necessary to complete the course. Students are even competing to receive these incentives and encouraging other classmates! You're donations have impacted so many of my students lives.”

  • A Normal, Fun Year!

    My students used a lot of this school supplies to stay safe at school during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a low income area, I was able to provide my students with the necessary materials to use project-based learning to promote progress.

    When the students received their materials at the beginning of the year, they were overjoyed that they did not have to stress about supplies. We were able to start the school year off in a normal fashion with limited stress. Students used these materials to take interactive notes and build relationships with their classmates.   • Recovering From Ida

    Thank you for supplying my students with all the materials they need to succeed. We are grateful that people like you exist in our world. We have used these resources to produce projects on each unit that tap into each of my students abilities. They created one pagers that show the impacts of the Trail of Tears on our nation.

    When my students saw the supplies they were relieved. After Hurricane Ida and being displaced at another school, many of the students original school supplies were destroyed or lost. Now the students will be able to create and learn in one environment without the stress of finding supplies.”

  • Past, Present, Future: Knowledge in Young Minds

    The supplies donated were used throughout the year before we were shut down. The kids enjoyed being able to use the materials for their interactive notebooks. We are extremely grateful for the supplies that was given. Students were able to create notes that were easier to remember. Because we are in such a low income community, we are not able to access resources the way that we should. Through your efforts and support my students were able to see how they can connect to the world through history.”

I will use these materials to connect past events in history to relevant events happening now. They will make connections and build connections with themselves and a growing society. The supplies we receive will give them the materials to create projects based off of the engineering design process. My students respond better to hands on activities versus the traditional sit and read type of activity. I will use lessons based off of interactive notebooks and comic strip activities in order to show the reality of historical events we discuss. They will learn the events through physical renditions created by them.

About my class
