Our classroom is in a mobile unit so it can get really crowded, and hard for me to see everyone's answers when asking questions. These ten frame paddles will help kids manipulate the counter and write down their thinking. Once they've worked through the problem I will be able to see their answers when the just hold up their paddle. This will help with quickly seeing which kids are understanding the lesson or need more help. Students need to have the manipulatives they need to work through math problems, they need to see and move through their thinking. These boards will allow students to see their thinking in action and will give kids the opportunity to work through their errors. The expo markers will allow students to write on the boards and easily erase any mistakes, without damaging the boards.
