Avoiding Summer Slump!
Funded May 27, 2022Thank you so much for donating to my project "Avoiding Summer Slump!" I am confident that my students will benefit greatly from these summer workbooks. In using these workbooks, my students will not only have a chance to review second grade skills, but they will also get a head start on third grade skills.
Thank you again for your support. My students and I are so grateful!”

"Totely" Need a Book Tote Bag
Funded Jul 21, 2021I would like to sincerely thank you for your wonderful donation to my classroom. My students were smiling from ear to ear, upon receiving the bright and durable tote bags, each of you generously contributed to. Because of YOU, my eager readers are now able to keep their books organized, as they travel from school to home. These tote bags go beyond protecting our classroom books. They have been wonderful in teaching students responsibility, by holding them accountable for taking care of our classroom library. Again, thank you, donors, for your benevolence from my students and myself. We are incredibly grateful!”

An APPLE for Learning
Funded Aug 19, 2020I cannot express how thankful I am for your kindness and generosity. My kindergarteners love using our new iPads. During independent work time, students take turns using the iPads to access interactive and engaging learning applications. These learning applications are especially useful in supporting English Language Learners, who rely greatly on visuals and multimedia to build their vocabulary and comprehension.
One of the most important skills for children to develop in kindergarten, is the recognition that letters and sounds are related. This is not an easy concept for many young learners to absorb. However, many interactive applications on the iPads have made it possible for students to learn their letters and letters sounds through song animations, fun activities and repetition.
My students couldn't be more excited to access the many learning applications available to them on the iPads. This would have not been possible without your generations donations. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Xhaxhi
