• So Many Students, Not Enough Desks!

  Thank you so much for donating to this project. The new desk and chair have been a big hit with my students. Since we use flexible seating, students are able to choose where they sit every Monday. The new desk and chair are a hot commodity. The desk is able to roll to new locations around the room if need be. The chair is light enough so that my students can stack it on top of the desk at the end of the day.

  Thank you again for helping my classroom be the best it can for my students. They deserve seating that is new and safe.”

• Back to Basics

  Thank you so much for your generosity and support. The students in my class benefit every day from the supplies I was able to get with your help.

  The two new blue seats replaced seats that had been worn out with time. Now they have seats that are comfortable and can be cleaned easily. These are definitely a hot commodity when students are choosing where to sit each week.

  The sharpies, sparkly markers, and chart paper make capturing their thinking and learning so much easier and make our anchor charts more appealing and fun. My students always go back to the charts to help them with their spelling and when they need to make connections with their learning.

  Who doesn't need a good pencil sharpener? This pencil sharpener is so powerful and quick. When we pick new jobs, sharpening pencils is top on everyone's list.”

• Fabulous Flexible Seating Options

  The new seating options in our classroom have made a huge impact on my students. They are able to have more choices for where they sit each week. The chairs and individual desks are a popular choice and I'm so glad that my caring students have made sure that everyone has gotten a chance to use them. The green seats are the place where my students love to curl up and read in our class library. They are so easy to keep clean. Thank you so much for providing these new seating options for my classroom. They are benefitting my students now and will for many years to come.”

• Magic Carpet Ride

  Funded May 3, 2022

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom so my students can have an amazing rug to sit on. It has made our transitions so much easier. I call on the different colored dot spots for students to go back to their seats or turn papers in. They also feel like they have their own space. The size of the rug is perfect for my classroom. There are enough dots for the different amounts of students I could have each year. The colors also match our flexible seating chairs. My students absolutely love the rug. Thank you again!!”

• Chromebooks for Remote Learning and Beyond

  Funded May 28, 2020

  This past year had a lot of ups and downs. Thanks to you, my students had the tools to be successful in the classroom. We were fortunate enough to be in person for half of the school year. During that time, my fabulous 2nd graders were able to do research, take assessments, play math games, and read books on our new Chrome books. Your generosity played in important part in the lives of 20 students who loved coming to school to learn and be together.

• Organization Station

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students didn't know what to do with themselves when the large box was delivered to our classroom. It was like Christmas in September when I tore open the box. They were so excited to have a place to put their folders, notebooks, and clipboards.

  The drawers open easily, they are big enough to store all of their materials, and they are able to share their drawer with another student. Daily transitions have been a lot easier because I can either call the drawer color or their magic number when I need them to get something for a lesson I'm teaching. They go quickly, wait in line for their turn, get their folder or notebook, and come back to their seats.

  This organization station is going to benefit my students for years to come. Thank you again!”

• Be Flexible! Part 2

  Thank you again for your generosity! The standing desk, stool, and cushions have positively impacted my classroom in many ways. When my students share their thinking, it is a lot easier for them to use the standing desk than the small desk we had before. They have also been learning about making healthy choices for our current unit of inquiry. We've been talking about how it is a lot better for your body to stand and work than to sit all day long.

  We use the blue and orange cushions as special seats for the students to sit on during whole group lessons. They love sitting on them and can't wait for their turn. The material the cushion are made out of make it easy to clean off if anything gets spilled on them.

• Be Flexible!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations! The flexible seating chairs and clipboards have improved our classroom in so many ways. My students are so excited to sit on the chairs. They have been really good about taking turns. They are able to focus and complete their work. They are also taking really good care of them. I wish you all could have been in our classroom to see the looks on their faces when I opened the boxes. They couldn't even believe their eyes. The fact that they are orange and blue, Bronco Colors, was a plus too.

  The clipboards have helped with our flexible seating and classroom management. Each student has a "magic number" during the school year. Now each of them has their own clipboard to use for the rest of the year. They feel a sense of ownership and want to grab a clipboard, find a quiet spot in the room, and complete their work.

• We Need iPads!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations! This new technology has enhanced my classroom in so many ways.

  My students are able to use the iPads to listen to books on an app called Epic. There are thousands of books for them to choose from. They like being able to swipe across the screen and go back to pages they've enjoyed reading or listening to. They also like to be able to move around the room and not have to worry about breaking them because they are in "kid friendly" sturdy cases.

  Istation is another app that they are able to use on the iPads. Every month the students get to take a literacy assessment to see how much they've grown. They also can use the iPads to practice their skills on Istation.

  As you can see, your kindness has made a huge difference in the education of my students. Thank you so much again!”
