ENL Learning Through Technology!
Funded Feb 14, 2025Thank you so much. This means the world to my students. A MacBook opens up a world of opportunities within the classroom. My ENL students will enjoy being hands on and scaffolding different supplements that will flourish their learning. Again, we thank you more than words will describe. Happy learning!”

Hands on Learning With Apple TV
Funded Feb 10, 2023Thank you SO much for providing my students the opportunity to have technology with them regardless of where I am in the classroom. My students are able to screen share their device as well as have me working with a small group and also controlling the screen.
This year as the English as a Second Language teacher, my students came from diverse backgrounds. I have students that speak Arabic, Urdu, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Chinese. Without technology and the use of this Apple TV device, we would not have been as successful as we were.
I look forward to using it next year!”

YA! We Love to Read Young Adult Novels!
Funded Oct 17, 2018I would like to thank you again for donating to my first Donor's Choose project. I could not express my gratitude enough. Since the first day I opened the box of novels, I have had students lining up at dismissal asking to borrow them. A handful of students loved their books so much they finished and are on to their second, even third, book! This project allowed me to purchase novels that are new and relevant to my students. Although my school does not have designated reading periods or time slots, students are encouraged to read at home or when they finish an assignment. It is great to hear students discussing the book they borrowed. Often, they choose their next book based on a "review" by a friend.
What I love the most: students who normally do not have an independent reading book or dislike reading...are borrowing books! They are engaging in conversations about their novel including why they chose it and what they love about it.
The smiles on their faces are heartwarming and being the reason they could read new novels is priceless.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
