These class sets are pricey, but I find them invaluable to the quality of the students' learning. I find what the district provides for the students are a tad lack luster. I wanted the opportunity to make the students excited about reading engaging texts and learning about story elements in an authentic way. There is so much that books can provide for the self, and I wanted to provide my students with the experience of interacting with all the aspects that quality literature provides such as building their vocabulary in a genuine manner, improving their communication skills, developing their social skills, and exposing them to the outside world in an organic manner!
