  • Developing Future Scientists and Historians!

    Thank you so much for all of your support by choosing to fund my classroom project. I do apologize this note is coming so late after you funded my project, but we had some classroom changes that left things a little hectic for a while this year. Fear not though, your donations were certainly put to good use for TWO classrooms instead of just one.

    My students greatly appreciated all the new science and social studies resources that we received from this project. It's so sad to me that we don't see enough focus on science and social studies in the classroom. However, now I have the tools to expose my students to these concepts and allow them more real life, hands-on experiences. I cannot wait to see how much these items continue to impact my future classroom, and I can know with certainty that without your donations I would not have seen as much growth and love of these two subject areas in my classroom.”

  • Flexible Learning for My Fantastic Learners!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to donate to my classroom. I apologize this update is coming so late, but due to some classroom changes it took a while to get everything situated and organized for my kids. However, once all the dust settled my kids were ecstatic to receive this lovely gift.

    The students LOVED these flexible seating options, I noticed an immediate difference with behavior when these were in use. They showed me a high level of responsibility by taking extra special care of these items, and they were so so so grateful for your support. Many many times they expressed their thanks to the "amazing donors" who "chose our classroom".

    I can't wait to see these products continue to impact my future students. They will certainly help with the growth and achievement that I anticipate seeing with my kids. My students participate in science labs weekly, but due to the lack of science safety equipment and tools many of the labs have to be modified and that doesn't allow them the full lab experience. I want them to be able to really dive into becoming scientists and doing scientific investigations, but without proper materials and resources they simply cannot. They also lack any Social Studies enrichment for stations, and the games and materials requested will help make that learning more engaging and fun for my students. These resources will help my students create more connections to the material we are learning in the classroom. The products I have selected will allow my students more choice and opportunity for hands-on, and most importantly, engaging learning opportunities in the classroom. I tell my students all the time we learn best by doing, but without adequate access to materials in the classroom they do not have the option to "do" as much as they need.
