  • We Will Rock You...With Our Buckets!

    Funded Nov 7, 2015

    The buckets have been the biggest hit with my students! They could not wait to use them and eagerly help distribute the buckets and sticks each class. They have learned to follow simple patterns and read those patterns in written form. They are reading music already! We have learned a few songs whole class and they have accomplished small group ensembles as well. We have also begun to transfer the skills they have learned on buckets to real drums. They have embraced their learning and are excited to come to music class. Thank you so much for making this project a reality.”

    Thank you so much for your generous donations. Because of you, the students will get to learn a new instrument in a fun and engaging way. The students are so excited to finally get this project underway. They have plans to play with their buddy classes and lead them in sing a longs. It is going to be so much fun! The class set will allow us to continue a tradition of playing ukuleles in 7/8 grades that the younger students will look forward to. Thank you again for your generous donations.”
