My third grade scholars come from nine different countries, represent 13 of the 99 neighborhoods in Birmingham, AL, and possess unique sets of sensory and learning needs. My amazing young people are clever, persistent in reaching their goals, and they LOVE to read! They are funny, smart and incredibly kind. The first norm they agreed on when we created our classroom rules was to "love each other," and the second was to "help each other." They are simply the best!!
