  • We Need Classroom Supplies!

    Thank you so much for your help in donating towards our classroom supplies. We are a brand new school in New York City and are working on limited funds. Your small donation is going a long way with our students. We are now able to do some basic things in the classroom such as projects. We will also be able to keep our room cleaner with our Clorox wipes, which will also help keep away the flu germs to prevent our students from getting sick!

  • Helping Teens Learn About Hygiene!

    Thank you so much for your contributions towards my Donors Choose project! Your help and support to my classroom is extremely appreciated. Because of your help, I will now be able to supply the entire sixth grade (450 students) with mini deodorants during our lesson on how to maintain good hygiene in my Health Education class. Something as small as deodorant can go a long way in a child's life. Many of my students do not have the means to access hygiene products that we tend to take advantage of, so being able to provide them with something so small means a lot to these children.

  • Laptops for Health Education!

    Thank you so much for your donation to help supply my classroom with a few laptops! You have now made it much easier for my students to research up to date information on health topics that we are learning about in our classroom. Health is a topic that constantly is changing in our lives, so without these laptops we would not be able to research the current articles on health. We are now able to research products that are good for our health as well as products that students need to stay away from, such as cigarettes, e-cigs, and vapes. The students were stunned when they saw the box of laptops delivered!”

  • Paper and Pencils for Health Education!

    Thank you very much for your donation to my classroom! The supplies are extremely important to help my students become successful learners, and you have made that possible for them! Without your help I wouldn't be able to provide the students with handouts for them to refer to during their lessons or pencils for them to write on the handouts! My students were extremely stunned to see a box of supplies be delivered to our classroom when we returned from our spring break.

MS 379 is a new middle school opening up in Queens, New York, part of the New York City Department of Education. As a new school we are limited on budgets, therefore limiting us to equipment and school supplies. I am looking to acquire equipment for my Physical Education classes for this upcoming school year. Any and all equipment that I am able to acquire will help out the new school tremendously. The students will love and appreciate being able to enjoy a quality Physical Education program that has great equipment to go along with it!
