Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my initiative to equip my students with the resources they deserve. Thanks to you, my students will have the necessary technology to feed their intrinsic creativity, intelligence, and drive. We look forward to continuing to learn and grow together!”

  • We Must Listen to Learn

    Funded Sep 7, 2017

Thank you for your generous gift to our classroom! Reliable headphones transformed the way my scholars approach blended learning, and supported our success in the classroom last year. By giving students access to auditory learning methods, greater focus and concentration, and a sense of ownership over new technology, headphones made our blended learning class a much more positive and productive place to learn!

My students are most excited about having access to new opportunities in blended learning, and spending more time engaged in their favorite educational programs and less handling technical difficulties. It warms my heart to see my students taking ownership over the tools they need to succeed, and advocate for additional supplies that will support their learning. Your support opened my students' eyes to the many things they need and deserve at school.

Many of my students dream of growing up to be computer scientists and engineers, and were particularly excited to experience new technology and learn how it works in the classroom! Additionally, my auditory learners, who process information best through listening, felt much more empowered to meet their goals with the support of headphones. Your gift truly transformed their learning experience and supported their success.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rowe

In the heart of Washington, DC, my students represent the diversity and resiliency that have always made our country great. Within a school that is approximately 52% Latino and 42% Black, my students learn about acceptance and tolerance both from the content in their classes and from one another in our richly diverse community. 100% of the student body at my Title I school qualify for free and reduced price lunch services. My students show me every day that, despite the significant challenges they may face, each of them has the capacity to question, challenge and change the world. With your support and investment, my students can enter middle school confident that they are fully prepared to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, with the knowledge that they have access to all of the resources and support that they need, and more importantly, that they deserve.
