After over a year trapped inside, our students deserve some extra time outside. By funding this project you will help me make an outdoor classroom and interactive notebooks a reality at our school. In order to create a greater sense of community, students will be tasked with creating projects that improve our garden space. Students will have the opportunity to personalize the garden space and mold it to fit our community's needs.
This project is centered around the NGSS matter and energy standards. Students will learn about the molecules that make up living things, and they will discover how matter and energy move through living things. This will set us up to learn about the carbon cycle and ultimately climate change. Students will grow food and collect data in the garden throughout the year.
Help us grow a garden as we return back to in-person school!
