  • Essential Supplies

    Funded Oct 2, 2022

Thank you for your donations. We have already started using all of it and my students are very excited and grateful for your generosity.

We are working very hard on reading and even if COVID made it difficult for them to learn at grade level, we will get there with time and patience.

Tha k you for contributing to my classroom and helping my students have a better and more exciting learning experience. We promise we will work and make our best.

Thank you again, you don't know how important it's to us.”

    Funded May 4, 2022

Thank you very much for your donation.

We are working on our the STATE TESTING today and tomorrow but our students are aware that they have a party awaiting on Friday.

We will be celebrating the effort they have made, and the goals we have achieved!

We appreciate your generosity and we are very grateful to have the opportunity to celebrate together this year. It has been difficult to catch up after the online learning and I am so proud of my students. They have done an amazing work and we are going to rock the state test tomorrow!

    Thank you!”

  • Inclusion, Diversity and Equity in My Room

    Funded Apr 17, 2022

my students have been enjoying the books you funded for us.

We have been learning about each other differences and similarities. We discussed disabilities and differences that we may encounter near us and ways to approach or treat those...

It has been very meaningful and some of the students have shared personal experiences that made the lesson even more real.

I love teaching and specially teaching values and helping them become better citizens. Without your help this would have been more difficult.

    Thank you!”

  • Technology Is a Great Way for Learning

    Funded Mar 4, 2022

We are so grateful. Your amazing donation helped me and my students get the technology they needed in order to learn, enjoy and grow.

We have been using it a lot since it got to our room, and I do not have enough words to express how grateful we are.

I am very confident to say that my students are going to be able to continue using it with projects, presentations, reading online books and finding information during our studies.

It has been amazing to see how they enjoy it and how grateful they are.”

  • Encourage Kids Embrace Their Uniqueness

    Funded Nov 29, 2021

my students LOOOOOOOVE all the books. It has been amazing to see their faces when reading about latinxs in the world, to learn about racism and we have had really good conversations about it.

They mentioned how nice representation was. Thanks to you I have created a project with them and we have been studying jobs. It was amazing to see them excited and engaged with the activity.

I truly thank your generosity, it made a big impact in my room and hopefully I will keep encouraging them for many years.”

  • Teacher Supplies

    Funded Jul 12, 2021

I am so glad I received the supplies.

It has been a game changer... I can travel to and from the school with all the documents/technology and my back does not suffer.

My students have been sharing the pens you sent us. They loooove it and they use it to show me strategies they use during our reading lessons.

I will forever be grateful, with all your support our classroom environment took a turn, we (me and them) are more active and we are trying to show our best in order to keep learning and growing.”

  • A Chromebook to Keep Students Connected

    Funded Jan 30, 2021

It has been an honor to be given the Chromebook for our classroom.

I have some students working online from home and other students working from the classroom.

Since we are working on a lot of activities online to include the remote students to the lessons, the Chromebook has been a hit!

We had technology for the in person students but it was outdated, slow and some of them had really bad connection issues.

The Chromebook has helped my students since we have use it as a back up when the technology in the classroom did not work. It has been a blessing having all the students always working on the online activities.

Thank you very much for your kind gesture,”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Roma

  • An iPad for Distance Learning

    Funded Nov 12, 2020

Thank you very much for your donation. Thanks to you I can now monitor my students while sharing my screen. I can also share my iPad screen as a whiteboard and can help them with problem/solution or even reading strategies.

Moreover, my in person students have been liking this new technology a lot because I can share my screen to the big white board and share everything with them.

The school, my students and myself really appreciate your generosity, this is making our distance learning life way easier.

    Again, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Roma

Having this iPad will allow me to mirror the iPad screen to the computer during virtual instruction and use the iPad as a digital whiteboard with on screen annotation. I will also be able to use the iPad as a document camera to project various texts for all students to see and engage with the text. During the Spring Semester, there were times when some of my students had a difficult time uploading documents. Instead of taking screen shots from the computer, I could take a picture using the iPad and upload the assignment for the student in a more efficient manner.
