  • Expressing Our Creativity Through Art

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

    Thank you so much for donating to our project. My kiddos are so excited to use these supplies in our art center. They have painted Starry Night inspired art. They've used the dot markers to express themselves artistically. Your donations towards my project has made 18 pre-k students in Harlem, NY excited to express themselves in various ways. I have noticed a change when they select a center to work in each day. They now select the art center as a first choice. I can not thank you enough!!”

  • Outdoor Learning

    These classroom supplies have helped to build the capacity of learning tools that make for exciting Outdoor Center Time activities. The learning I promote happens inside and outside the classroom.

    The students benefited from new tables in the classroom learning environment. The lightweight tables allowed the students to independently move them as needed to join another center inside the classroom; or for ease helped move them to outdoor learning. Some are placed in the outdoor shed for easy access to set up a quick learning environment. I can now host Outdoor Breakfast, Outdoor Morning Meeting & Outdoor Centers with a 15min set-up. This could not be done before with the old heavy tables.

    Something as basic as tables can make a huge impact on the classroom environment and management.”

  • New Chairs for Pre-K Students in Harlem

    Thank you so much for helping with our outdoor learning experience. Your donation towards the purchase of lightweight chairs has allowed my PreK students to independently move chairs around.

    Outdoor learning has been a movement my school has been making even before Covid. We realized we needed furniture that was lightweight to move about and made of materials for outdoor use.

    Your donation has allowed my class to have outdoor center time. We recently enjoyed reading time outside. My 3.5/4 year olds show so much joy in their ability to independently move around using these chairs during our outdoor center time!!
