• Help Us Have a Fun-tastic Year!

  Thank you so much for the generous donation of organization tools and art supplies! These resources are incredibly valuable to our classroom and will make a real difference in our learning environment. We are so grateful for your support.

  The art supplies themselves are fantastic! The variety of materials we were able to purchased has sparked so much creativity and excitement. The children were thrilled to see the new paints, different types of paper, and especially the playdough. We've already used them to create some amazing projects. One student, who is usually quite reserved, has really blossomed through working with the clay, expressing himself in ways I hadn't seen before.

  Having these resources readily available encourages exploration, experimentation, and self-expression. It allows the children to explore different mediums and discover their own artistic talents. It also makes art time so much more enjoyable and productive for everyone.

• Plants Help Us Thrive

  Thank you so much for the wonderful plants! They've brought so much joy and excitement to our Pre-K classroom. The children were absolutely captivated the moment they saw them! Their eyes widened, and they pointed and exclaimed about the "green leaves" and "pretty flowers" (even though some are just foliage plants!).

  We're using the plants in so many ways. Of course, caring for them is a big part of our learning. We've made it a collaborative effort, with each child getting a turn to help with watering (with small watering cans, of course!), misting, and even just talking to the plants. We've learned that plants need "sunshine and water to grow big and strong," and we've connected it to how we need healthy food and rest to grow.

  The plants have truly transformed our classroom into a more vibrant and engaging learning environment. They've sparked curiosity, encouraged responsibility, and provided countless opportunities for learning and exploration. Thank you again for this wonderful gift!”

• Tablets for Education: Introducing Pre-K To Technology and Beyond!!

  Thank you so very much for helping to fund my project. It is so important to introduce technology and how to use it properly as early as preschool. These tablets allow my kiddos opportunities to listen to read aloud an and songs independently.

  My kiddos are so excited to use the tablets to individually listen to read a louds and to play alphabet and math games. The tablets were such a wonderful addition to our technology center.

• Help Us Have Colorful Signs and Labels

  Thank you ever so much for your support with this project. I have been able to print colorful signs in dual languages to support the students in my class. My school has recently received our share of immigrants. With limited resources it has been challenging to support these students. Something as simple as a color printer in my classroom has allowed me to support, and include these students in my classroom centers. Being able to quickly print signs with picture support as well as translation has been fabulous!! Thank you again for your support”

• Flexible seating and calming ambiance!

  My kiddos and I were so excited to receive the items from Flexible seating and calming ambiance.

  We were able to upgrade our cozy corner and have it feel calmer and more inviting.

  Now my kiddos want to use the cozy corner to self regulate themselves.

  The addition of the mini sofa and mini chair in the dramatic play area make it feel more like home when they are playing. My four year olds suggested I allow them to use the seating during circle time and morning meeting. I was beyond happy that they expressed the desire to use the seating in the way I intended for them too!!

• Cold Milk and Snacks!!

  Thank you so much for your support. My kiddos can now enjoy cold milk, juice and treats as well as warm snacks when we have them. We are able to put milk, juice, water, and fruit in the refrigerator and enjoy them during breakfast and snack time. The microwave also allows us to gently warm bagels, waffles, and pancakes for snack time.

  My kiddos were so excited to see the items when they were delivered. They even played with the boxes for weeks.

  I am also excited that the refrigerator has a freeze, where I can freeze the boo boo ice packs as well as icees when the weather is warmer.”

• Climate and the Environment!

  Thank you ever so much for you donations. Your kind donations have allowed me to purchase technology to help my kiddos conduct research research about the climate and the environment. They are able to search for pictures and explore ways to keep our environment clean.

  My kiddos are excited to use their ipad and feel like "the big kids!" Seeing how excited they are when using the ipad is breath taking and makes me smile.

  I especially enjoy the happiness my migrant student has searching for information on his own! He was excited to share a translated conversation with me, using the translator on the ipad!!

• Magical Cozy Corner

  Thank you so much for providing a magical cozy corner for my kiddos!! They now have an area where they can go when they are feeling sad, anxious or scared. They go in and when they come out they always let me know they are feeling better. I have observed my students suggesting to other kiddos who are struggling with their emotion, to go to our magical cozy corner to feel better. There are more opportunities for positive self regulation because of the magical cozy corner! I can not thank you enogh for you support with funding this project!!”

• Expressing Our Creativity Through Art

  Thank you so much for donating to our project. My kiddos are so excited to use these supplies in our art center. They have painted Starry Night inspired art. They've used the dot markers to express themselves artistically. Your donations towards my project has made 18 pre-k students in Harlem, NY excited to express themselves in various ways. I have noticed a change when they select a center to work in each day. They now select the art center as a first choice. I can not thank you enough!!”
