Keep Calm and Flex On Expanded!
Funded Apr 22, 2018Thank you so much for your support for my classroom. My students were so excited to have their own space to keep their belongings. They also love the stability balls and being able to bounce and stay focused on their work. The standing desks have been a huge help for my students that enjoy standing while they work. I am so excited to continue to build my flexible seating classroom. I would not be able to do this and be successful without all of your support. Flexing While We Work
Funded May 16, 2018Thank you so much for your continued support and generosity for my classroom. My students love the new seating arrangements and it is really helping them to comfortably learn. It is important that children be comfortable in their environment. Once comfortable, they are able to take in their surroundings and learn new skills.
This new sitting has given my students the opportunity to learn. It is important to that every student have a chance to be successful in school and you have given them this chance. Thank you again for all that you do for education.”

The ink is going to allow my students to publish their work and see it like a true author would. I can't wait to get started with the writing process this year and see the creativity their minds have. The students are excited to get started and see their ideas come to life in color!

Cubbies for Flexible Learning!
Funded Jan 14, 2018We want to thank you all for your generous donations for my flexible classroom! The cubbies have helped us to stay organized and keep up with the busy environment of my classroom.
The cubbies have helped us to keep our individual supplies in one place. They are now easy for us to access and we can get to them quickly. The cubbies have been a great addition to our flexible room.
The students were so excited when the cubbies arrived and love that they now have a place for all of their supplies.

Your Donation is Key to Our Philanthropy Round 2!
Funded Nov 14, 2017I cannot even begin to put into words my gratitude for your donations. You are not only helping my students, but you are helping others in need too!
We are using these new resources to make blankets and then donate them to a shelter near by. The students used scissors to cut the fabric. The fabric when then pieced together to make a "no sew" blanket.
The students were very excited to participate in this project. We were able to make 10 blankets out of the donated fabric.
The students looked forward to being able to make someone else's day just a little bit brighter. Now that the blankets have been completed, we will be visiting the shelter to hand deliver them. This project helped my students to recognize the importance of community. It showed them to care for others, even those we don't know, and to go out of their way for those less fortunate than us.
I could not be more ecstatic about the outcome of the blankets, as well as my students reactions to the project and the impact it made on their personal lives. We could not thank you enough for your donation. Always remember, your donation can be the key to someone else's philanthropy!”

Authors Need Tools!
Funded Jun 6, 2017Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students just entered class but are learning how to be better writers with your help! We have started the writing process and are working together with our peers to do our best work.
The students are learning, through this process, to accept one another for who they are. The students have gained a lot of respect for one another through our writing process. We have used the writing folders and books you donated to us in order to do this.
We can't wait to publish our work and laminate it! We look forward to working hard towards having tolerance in our classroom.”

Funded Apr 9, 2017Thank you so much for your continued support for my community service helpers! The students had a blast potting plants and watching them grow. Each class in the school building created a pot to represent their class. They painted it with paint markers, planted it, and put it outside in our school yard.
The students played a huge part in helping our environment and the bees! It also beautified our school grounds.

Funded Aug 11, 2017Thank you so much for your continued support for our classroom! We love our new seating arrangements and are learning at our best! We are working really hard and the bean bag chairs, wobble stools, couch, and pillows have made it easier for us to focus and be comfortable in the classroom.
We have learned through this new seating that not everyone learns the same way and it is important to do what is best for ourselves. We have also learned that we should accept others for who they are, everyone is different and we love their differences!

Funded Mar 7, 2017Thank you so much for your continued support of my students and their education. We used the Chromebooks for a variety of different reasons and it had improved both my students' math and ELA abilities.
The students used the Chromebooks in order to be quicker math thinkers and be able to quickly add, multiple, divide and subtract. They also used them to play interactive games aligned to the unit of study.
We also used them to do research on Italy. The children were excited to learn new facts about a country that is somewhat familiar to them through food! Students were able to learn about the animals, culture, flag and history of this country.
The last, and best support the Chromebooks provided to my students was talk-to-text. I have students that are unable to read, or need to have passages read in their home language. The Chromebooks gave them easy access to all of these modification and more!

Funded Nov 30, 2016I want to thank you again for your continued support for my classroom!
The students loved using the paint pens in order to make a thank you card for the President of our organization. The students in the Kiwanis club are working towards lending a helping hand around the community. The pens have helped us to create posters for our fundraisers and philanthropy events. It has also helped us to print letters to potential volunteers or flyers for events.
We are so grateful for everyone's support and we look forward to being able to use the paints for future events.”
