A Body in Motion, Stays in Motion!
Funded Nov 5, 2023Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Upon your donations, my Physical Education program has been able to participate more in physical activities. My students were able to use the equipment needed to practice their volleyball skills, throwing and catching skills, tossing and aiming skills, and striking skills. The extra volleyballs helped to include more students into the activities played, instead of waiting their turns and watching. The gator skin dodgeballs were used for many indoor games when the weather was not appropriate to participate in outdoor activities. My students used the gator balls for multiple games called Battleship, Gaga Ball, and Movie Tag to name a few.
The fleece balls were used with the younger grade levels for an activity called, "Clean Your Room". The students loved the fleece balls because they were soft and did not hurt if it hit their bodies by accident. Lastly, the bean bags were used for tossing and aiming into hula hoops for an activity called, "The Money Game" as well as an activity called, "Capture the Treasure". Thank you so very much for your donations to help my students practice these skills and activities. We appreciate your support very much!”

Funded Oct 8, 2021Thank you for contributing equipment to my physical education classroom. My students have used the Speed Stacking cups, flag belts, and poly spot markers for many of my lessons. Our classroom now has enough sets of Speed Stacking cups for every student to use. This has been a blessing for my larger class sizes.
My students enjoyed learning to master the Speed Stacking techniques while improving their reaction time, concentration, focus, hand eye coordination, and speed. Cup stacking is a great way to get every student involved and build self esteem.
The students at my elementary school are so grateful for your generosity and kindness. We appreciate every item that was donated and cannot wait to use the rest of our DonorsChoose items.”

Funded Mar 2, 2021Thank you for your contribution to my classroom and school. The students loved the new socially distanced PE activities and were able to stay safe while having fun. There were a number of activities and games used to keep my students physically active, while staying 3 feet apart.
My classes used pool noodles for a number of games and activities that allowed for my students to exercise while most importantly, staying safe! I appreciate your generosity greatly. Thank you again for donating to my school.”
