  • Moving on with Technology

    Thank you so much for your donation. Helping fund this project has made working with our computers so much easier. My students are now able to access their work with greater efficiency and are able to manage their documents in a timely fashion. Since we are no longer saving documents on our computers hard drives, Our classroom computers and laptops are also working a lot faster.

    Having enough flash drives for may students to save their work, has also been great. Each student has been assigned a flash drive on which they store their documents. I no longer hear: " I can't find my work." It is all on the flash drive.

I work in an economically disadvantage area of Los Angeles that has a high poverty level. The students in my class are either Latino or African-American. There are 22 students enrolled in my class of these students only 6 have computer access at home, because of this all of assignments that require any use of the computer have to be done in class.
