When I learned I would have 2nd grade it was so fantastic but I was concerned about how I would be able to get all the resources I needed to get my students excited about learning again. When I share with my students the project was fully funded they were so happy and cheered. When we actually received the resources it was so amazing to see their creativity coming to life. • Literally Literacy

    Funded Sep 10, 2022

Second grade is a year students begin to discover themselves as individuals and as little humans. For example, they begin to learn about what jobs are within the community and how these jobs help to make community better that they live in. I also have noticed students using the materials donated to create robots or have imagery play which is amazing. They make fake pizzas and ice cream to bring me. I can tell they appreciate the donations and that their second experience is a fun one.

Thank you for making it possible!”

My students are dedicated to finishing the school year strong, but need more opportunities to receive teacher support. The requested document camera will allow them to receive the support they are use to within the classroom. They will be able to see my comments as well as view my work in live-time on the whiteboard. With these resources, my students who rely on direct instruction will be able to continue to receive their preferred learning style and provide high engagement. The Bluetooth wireless will help with communication and live interactions to support my students learning experience. By creating an opportunity for discussion, not currently present. The assignments are more like individual assignments and this will change and become more classroom assignments.
