  • It's All Fine! (Motor)

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so much for helping to fund our project! We LOVE using the fine motor scoops in our sensory bin. Our favorite activity is the rainbow. The scholars love to sit and put the pompoms in order. We love using the Squigs to strengthen our hands and arms. We also love the way they sound when the pop off the table. We love the color sorting activity. It helps us use our fine motor skills to sort the colors over and over again. The hole punches also help us strengthen our hands and arms and allow us to make fun shapes while keeping our area tidy. We can't thank you enough!”

  • Ready, Set, Learn!

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

Thank you so much for donating these resources to our classroom. The pencils help my scholars with their writing as they work to strengthen their fine motor skills. The clock will help with our clock unit in first grade as well as the puzzles that come with it. My scholars engage so much with puzzles and this will give them more interest in the topic. The timers help with calming strategies and needed breaks for scholars during emotional escalations. The scholars were so excited to see the addition and subtraction activities as well. These have made them more interested and excited about addition and subtraction. These activities mean so much to us and have positively impacted our scholars' learning.”

  • Safe Sensory

    Funded Sep 21, 2023

Thank you so much for providing these sensory materials for my scholars. They love them so much and utilize them daily. The sensory turtle is one of our favorites as the kids love sequins. They enjoy carrying him around, feeling his sequins and reading to him in the reading corner. They also love the sensory socks for calming down. The bubble timers are also a big hit as the kiddos love the visual stimulation it provides them. This is used during sensory time as well as a reinforcer during work time. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom!”

  • Let's Get Social & Emotional

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to my project! We LOVE our new Little Spots of Feelings books! We use these books each week during our social skills lessons. We focus on one feeling each week and the activities that go along with it. The scholars love to follow along with the videos on YouTube related to the books. It is encouraging scholars to use their words to express their emotions rather than yelling or becoming aggressive. These books are such a great tool for my scholars. The headphones and oral motor tool also help with sensory needs throughout the day for my scholars to remain calm as well.”

  • Classroom Makeover

    Funded Aug 5, 2023

Thank you so much for providing the funds for Teachers Pay Teachers to allow me to create a new classroom theme for my scholars. Having visuals in the classroom that are cohesive makes a classroom much calmer, clean looking, and put together. In a classroom with scholars who have high sensory needs, they require a very organized space and this makeover allowed for that. The lamp is also extremely useful as many scholars are sensitive to light and turn the overhead lights off throughout the day. The lamp allows the TA to have light at her table when the classroom lights are off.”

  • Books, Books, and More Books

    Funded Aug 12, 2023

Thank you so much for donating books to my classroom! Books are such an integral part in scholars learning as they help with reading, comprehension and many other skills. In the classroom the scholars utilize the reading corner during independent time. They love to look at the books as they are more on their developmental level vs. the paper back books. The favorite books are the books with sensory pieces where there are different textures on the pages. Two of my scholars particularly love the planets book. These books have made my scholars love reading and books so much!”

  • Print Print Horray!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to give our classroom a printer! A printer is crucial to a classroom as we prepare materials each day for the scholars. A color printer is especially important in the special education classroom as we create many visuals for scholars before the school year begins as well as through the school year. The printer also allows me to create beautiful spaces for the classroom with visuals of the alphabet, shapes, and colors. This printer makes my life easier daily when working in the classroom with my scholars and paras.”

  • Classroom Refresh

    Funded Feb 10, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to refresh our classroom! It is so nice to provide my scholars with materials they need without worrying about how I'm going to pay for them. The Velcro dots are used everyday as they need replaced frequently. The Velcro strips helped to hang the curtains to hide items on the shelves. The expo markers are used so frequently that we are almost out again! These kiddos could draw all day with the expo markers. We also love our sensory toys and chewy. They help to keep the scholars calm throughout the day. I can't thank you enough!”

These materials will make a difference in my scholars' learning by allowing them to work together in hands-on activities to build phonemic awareness. My scholars will learn letter sounds and become new readers while being engaged in these activities. My scholars will also become super mathematicians while using these products. My scholars are outgoing and love to learn! These products will keep them engaged while also helping them learn during math and literacy center rotations. This is their favorite time of the day because they get to work together on engaging activities and puzzles. These products will allow me to rotate activities throughout the year to keep them interested in learning the new material.
