  • Science Class and Eye Safety

    Funded May 24, 2022

The first day we used our new eye safety glasses, my students were surprised and excited about their new science materials. My students have used their new eye safety glasses to participate in two chemical reactions labs so far. My students have had so much fun completing these labs. They are able to be true scientist with the help of your generous donation. Students have been so good about lab safety and the importance of wearing eye safety glasses. They get excited about wearing their eye safety glasses and they make sure each other are wearing eye safety wear before they start their lab.”

  • Practicing STEM Skills with Rubik's Cubes

    Funded Jun 11, 2022

My students were so excited and interested in the Rubik's Cubes the first day we used them in the classroom. My students are really enjoying learning how to solve a Rubik's cube. Students are watching videos and practicing to get better. Students have been inspired after watching videos of professionals who solve the Rubik's Cube in seconds. Students have requested to have a Rubik's Cube competition to see who is the fastest in the class. I already have one student who has learned how to solve the Rubik's Cube and is now helping and teaching his classmates to solve it as well. Thank you again for helping to give my students this fun lesson!”

    Funded Oct 7, 2022

I'm so grateful and beyond amazed on how many donors came together to help fund this project! Thank you so much for giving to my classroom and helping my students experience a hands on engineering project. They will be so excited to be able to create their very own solar cars!”

  • Headphones For Amazing Science Students

    Funded Jul 13, 2022

Thank you so much for giving my students the gift of headphones! The new headphones have helped my students learn about science by watching content related videos at their own pace. I have many English Learners so they are able to watch and rewatch videos in Spanish or English to help them reinforce and learn the material better.

My students love our new headphones. Most students prefer these new headphones than their personal air pods. Students have told me that our new headphones are very comfortable and good quality. Students appreciate that they can watch videos at their own pace and can rewind any parts they need to go over more.”

    Funded Jul 13, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation! I'm so excited to share the great news with my students. They enjoy creating robots and now they will be able to create mazes for their robots. I look forward to sharing photos of my students using and enjoying their new maze supplies soon!”

Students will be able to learn in a fun and engaging way by having the ability to work with these Jimu robots in the classroom. Students will be able to work on team building, communication, and computational thinking by designing and creating a robot. Students will have the chance to experience hands-on robotics activities that will prepare them for success in STEM. In building this robot, students will have the "full circle" experience, students will construct a robot, troubleshoot issues during construction, and prompt codes which will command/control their robot. Having access to these materials will ignite students' imagination, encourage both teamwork and independent thinking, and deepen STEM learning.
